Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role
· 6-7 years of IT development experience with min 3+ years hands-on experience in Snowflake
· Strong experience in building/designing the data warehouse or data lake, and data mart end-to-end implementation experience focusing on large enterprise scale and Snowflake implementations on any of the hyper scalers.
· Strong experience with building productionized data ingestion and data pipelines in Snowflake
· Good knowledge of Snowflake's architecture, features likie Zero-Copy Cloning, Time Travel, and performance tuning capabilities
· Should have good exp on Snowflake RBAC and data security.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards in Tableau or PowerBI
- Ability to identify right data Visualization based on Business requirement.
- Perform and document data analysis, data validation and data mapping design
- Review and improve existing reports, dashboards, and analytics systems.
- Help optimise Tableau reports/dashboards performance on the server
- Develop presentations and documents that will have an impact
- Communicate complex topics to the team through both written and oral communications
- Ensure that project deliverable meet business requirements and ensure to complete the project within assigned timelines

Snowflake Architect
Required Technical Skill Set
· 4-8 years of total experience and at least 3+ years of expertise in Cloud data warehouse technologies on Snowflake and AWS, Azure or GCP.
· At least one End-to-end Snowflake implementation is a must covering all aspects including architecture, design, data engineering, data visualization and data governance (specifically data quality and lineage).
· Significant experience with data migrations and development of Operational Data Stores, Enterprise Data Warehouses and Data Marts.
· Good hands-on knowledge on SQL and Data Warehousing life cycle is an absolute requirement.
· Significant experience with data migrations and development, design, Operational Data Stores, Enterprise Data Warehouses and Data Marts.
· Experience with cloud ETL and ELT in one of the tools like DBT/Glue/ADF or Matillion or any other ELT tool and exposure to Bigdata ecosystem (Hadoop).
· Expertise with at least one of the Traditional data warehouses solutions on Oracle, Teradata, and Microsoft SQL server.
· Excellent communication skills to liaise with Business & IT stakeholders.
· Expertise in planning execution of a project and efforts estimation.
· Understanding of Data Vault, data mesh and data fabric architecture patterns.
· Exposure to working in Agile ways of working.

True Hands-On Developer in Programming Languages like Java or Scala . Expertise in Apache Spark . Database modelling and working with any of the SQL or NoSQL Database is must. Working knowledge of Scripting languages like shell/python. Experience of working with Cloudera is Preferred Orchestration tools like Airflow or Oozie would be a value addition. Knowledge of Table formats like Delta or Iceberg is plus to have. Working experience of Version controls like Git, build tools like Maven is recommended. Having software development experience is good to have along with Data Engineering experience
