Job Description

•      Derive requirements for electronics design tasks (Digital and Analog Electronics) from system specifications and by working with both internal and external customers

•      Works with development teams including System, Software, Mechanical and PCB layout engineers to refine requirements and interfaces.

•      Works with Project/Program managers to define schedule and with Manufacturing team to define test and assembly processes

•      Performs risk analysis as per the process and regulatory requirements

•      Prepares and presents design to internal teams as well as to external partners/customers

•      Generates schematics, PCB layout and BOMs and flow down board design requirements to PC board designer

•      Assist and support Mechanical Design Team during design and development.

•      Works with Purchase team and vendors to specify and acquire components

•      Performs design verification including the creation of test plans, generation of test stimulus, and running tests and debugging hardware for the integration and production phase of products,

•      Work with software teams on device bring -up and development.

•      Responsible for releasing and maintaining complete design documentation according to process and regulatory requirements and supporting manufacturing and customers throughout the life of the product

•      Other duties as assigned

Qualification and Experience

•      Preferably M. Tech/M.E. but at least B. Tech/B.E. – Electrical & Electronics / Electrical Communication / Instrumentation / Medical Electronics

•      Should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in design and development of medical devices, Medical Electronics / Data Acquisition related to Medical Devices / Medical Devices Design / Medical Signal Processing / Medical Signal Conditioning

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

•      Essential Skills

o    Should have experience in coordinating with multiple teams, including third party integration of hardware components, travel to customer/vendor places for system integration support during integration process.

o    Hands-on experience on Cadence SPB ORCAD Capture Tool

o    Hand     on     experience     using     lab    test    equipment             (function generator, oscilloscope etc)

o    Sound knowledge of peripheral drivers like I2C/ SPI/ UART/ USB/ GPIOs/ BLE etc.

o    Preparation of document as per latest revision of ISO 13485 standard

o    Ability to be flexible in a fluid product development environment

o    Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills

o    Ability to work under pressure.

•      Desirable Skills

o    Involved in Compliance and Pre-compliance testing of medical devices as per latest versions of EN/ISO 60601-1, EN/ISO 60601-1-1, EN 60601- 1-2, EN 60601-1-11

o    Familiarity with ISO 14971 standard for risk management

o    Good understanding of other standards for Medical Devices

o    Technical writing experience

• Rewrite existing APIs in NodeJS.
• Remodel the APIs into Micro services-based architecture.
• Implement a caching layer wherever possible.

Skills Required:

• At least 2.5 years of experience developing Backends using NodeJS — should be well versed with its asynchronous nature & event loop, and know its quirks and workarounds.
• Excellent hands-on experience using MySQL or any other SQL Database.
• Good knowledge of MongoDB or any other NoSQL Database.
• Good knowledge of Redis, its data types, and their use cases.
• Experience with graph-based databases like GraphQL and Neo4j.

• Good understanding of advanced JS libraries and frameworks.

• Be the analytical expert in Kaleidofin, managing ambiguous problems by using data to execute sophisticated quantitative modeling and deliver actionable insights.

Requirements:

• Experience leading development efforts through all phases of SDLC.

• Experience with Quicksight, PowerBI, Tableau and Qlik is a plus.
• Hands on experience in SQL, data management, and scripting (preferably Python).
• Strong data visualisation design skills, data modeling and inference skills.

Required professional and technical expertise:

• Expertise in sourcing through social media channels and other innovative sourcing channels would be a plus
• Demonstrable experience in partner management and strength to hold difficult conversations with them
