Develop storyboards, by mapping unique storylines and multi-product scenarios Work on rapid testing of concepts, using digital and new media prototyping Extend the Visual language through storyboards, scenarios, mood boards, iconography, photography and illustrations Produce animations and demos, social ads e.g. for Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and Youtube, and graphics for website, landing pages, emails, and newsletters Collaborate with the team in participatory design, customer interviews, usability testing, and experiments to learn about user behavior and verify design concepts Effectively communicate work in verbal and written forms, and own team outcomes Participate as a contributor to an interdisciplinary team with other designers, marketers, public and analyst relations experts, experimenters, and conceptualizers Collaborate effectively with team in Redwood City, California and Bangalore, India Background and Skills: 6+ years of practitioner design experience, ideally with Masters or Bachelors in Design or related fields In-depth knowledge and experience of visual design with enterprise or consumer technology businesses, ideally in a high growth environment Extensive experience in the craft of visualization applying user-centered design processes while working with cross-functional marketing and design teams Working knowledge of as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Apple Keynote Proficient in a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g. storytelling, storyboards, mood boards, prototypes, etc) Passion for animated storytelling, and interest in broader video techniques Knowledge of mobile, tablet and desktop platforms is an advantage. Good task management skills and experience getting feedback from decision makers Ability to work independently, identify and solve problems effectively and efficiently. Be a storyteller – deliver insights about behavior – verbally and visually – in a way that generates empathy, emotion, and engagement from the client and design teams Ability and willingness to take feedback and create highest quality work on time
