Must Haves:

• Minimum 4-9 years of design experience

• At least three years of experience working on digital products which include creating highly-detailed annotated wireframes, user flows, process flows and high-fidelity screens

• Worked on Information Architecture, Interaction Design and Product Design

• Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to Web-based applications and mobile applications Can establish and run a good design process (exploratory and evaluative research, sprints, reviews etc.)

• Are comfortable with and interested in actively designing the product by himself/herself

• Familiarity and experience with standard design, prototyping, and user research tools, such as Figma, Miro, and Sketch.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Are deeply empathetic to customers and users and understand how the business works

• Design systems experience is an added advantage

Responsibilities:

• Clear understanding of the critical characteristics of the intended user population

• Understanding of the users' current jobs and tasks, underlying goals, and mental models of their work process and products

• Understanding of platform-specific nomenclature

• The ability to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage UX work

What kind of candidate are we looking for?

• Have designed user interfaces for mobile and web platforms in the past.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in UX | UI field.
• Familiar with UX methodologies – research, interviews, personas, competitor research, sitemap, wireframing, responsive design and prototyping.
• Familiar with UI principles and being able to translate a given user-experience journey into a visually great and intuitive UI.
• Experience using Figma.
• Being able to communicate your design decisions & choices effectively to internal team members and stakeholders.

• Ability to collaborate with other designers to maintain consistency and coherence across the designs.
• A knack for attention to detail and having the ability to quickly incorporate feedback and efficiently produce high-quality work.
• Brownie points if you know prototyping /motion design tools like After Effects, ProtoPie, etc.
• Proficient (written and verbal) in the English language.
• Someone who is keen and eager to learn, put forth ideas and loves the design as much as we do.

What will you do?

• Create wireframes and prototypes to effectively communicate your ideas.
• Create visual designs and user interfaces for the wireframes.
• Execute on 1 to 2 projects at a time.
• Communicate with senior and lead designers to understand the project requirements, deliverables and feedback.
• Present and rationalize your design decisions and stick to well-known design guidelines while designing interfaces.
• Collaborate with team members across verticals (development, graphic design and content) to bring the product you’re working on to life.
• Document and effectively update design files.
• Continually keep yourself updated with the latest changes and design industry standards.

• Developing UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites and apps function and look like
• Creating original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, tables, etc)
• Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Adhering to style standards on fonts, colors, and images
• Creating attention-grabbing designs aimed at multiple target audiences B2C

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a UI/UX designer
• Character making and image solving capabilities
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
• Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus
• Knowledge of UI/UX of responsive websites
• Portfolio of design projects

As a UI/UX Artist, you will be working on the overall user experience of the game in all aspects and phases of production, you propose solutions to translate game design requirements into usable and memorable graphical user interfaces

What do you need to do? (Role and Responsibilities)

• You will work closely with the Product Managers and Game Designers to create clean, clutter-free, user-centric, trendy and easy to understand user interfaces (UI) for mobile games.
• You need to be dedicated to researching and playing hundreds of mobile games to understand best practices in the Industry.
• Work on the UI design (Flows, Menus and HUDs) as per requirements.
• Explore and create high fidelity mockups and then the individual graphical elements needed for mobile screens, including iconography.
• Create wireframes or modify existing screen flows based on design specifications or feedback.
• Apply and maintain a consistent look and feel throughout the UI.
• Ability to make design decisions and take on design problems independently, present and sell design concepts.

Who could you be? Background and Experience:

• You should have a background in graphic design/interaction design/HCI related areas. You should have at least 4-5 years of experience in mobile games/apps.
• At least shipped 5 apps/games as an UI/UX Artist.
• You are proficient with prototyping tools such as Axure, Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator or other software for creating flowcharts, wireframes and Final UI Design mock-ups.
• Hands-on experience or knowledge of Unity 3D is a plus.
• Strong foundational graphic design skills (colour theory, composition, typography etc).
• Possess an excellent understanding of visual design principles, style guidelines, design processes, and creative workflow.
• Bring art to life while improving the UX with visuals.
• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to give and receive constructive criticism and critique with a focus on improving quality
• Team player with a great attitude & love for mobile games

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, interaction design, or equivalent industry experience in the design field.
