Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and React.
- Build and manage back-end services and analytics computation in Python or Golang, utilizing serverless technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS Fargate).
- Design and implement database schemas, manage data storage solutions, and write efficient database queries.
- Use Terraform/CloudFormation to simulate customer environments or update our infrastructure following security best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality products.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Implement automated testing and continuous integration processes to ensure software quality.
- Proactively add telemetry and logging to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues.
- Stay current with emerging web technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Experience: 6+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Front-End: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript, and the React framework. Proven experience with graphical libraries, particularly for displaying large graph data (e.g., Graphviz).
- Back-End: Experience with server-side programming languages like Golang and Python.
- Cloud Technologies: Proficiency in AWS cloud technologies and experience in building dynamic, responsive UIs using GraphQL, Elasticache, AppSync, CloudFront.
- Databases: Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). Proficiency in data modeling, caching, and data lifecycle management.
- Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other cloud services and technologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of additional graphical libraries and tools.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
