Roles and Responsibilities.
- Audit & Financial Review:
- Assist in the preparation and execution of internal and external audits.
- Review and analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with auditing regulations and best practices.
- Income Tax Compliance:
- Assist in the preparation and filing of Income Tax returns (ITR) for individuals and businesses.
- Maintain records related to tax assessments, notices, and refunds.
- Handle and resolve queries and assessments from tax authorities.
- TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) Compliance:
- Ensure timely deduction, deposit, and filing of TDS returns.
- Reconcile TDS payments with the records to ensure accuracy.
- Address any notices or discrepancies related to TDS.
- GST Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
- Maintain GST-related records and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Assist in resolving GST-related issues, including notices from authorities.
- Coordination and Liaison:
- Liaise with tax authorities and auditors for timely resolution of queries and audits.
- Prepare documents and reports for audit purposes and compliance audits.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather required documentation and support compliance.
- Other Responsibilities:
- Stay updated with changes in tax regulations and compliance requirements (Income Tax, TDS, GST).
- Provide recommendations for process improvements to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Assist in any ad-hoc projects or assignments related to tax and audit functions.
