Oracle Health is seeking a Software Developer 4 with deep expertise in Java, distributed systems, and microservices to design and build highly available, secure, and scalable healthcare platforms. In this senior individual contributor role, you will drive architecture and design, lead complex technical initiatives, and mentor engineers while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality. • Diagnose and resolve production issues related to performance, scalability, reliability, and data integrity; lead root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
• Ensure solutions adhere to security, privacy, compliance, and regulatory requirements applicable to healthcare.
• Contribute to and help standardize shared libraries, frameworks, and platform capabilities across teams.

Required Qualifications 

• 8–12 years of professional software development experience, with a strong backend and distributed systems focus.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java (Java 8+), including OOP, concurrency, data structures, algorithms, and performance tuning.
• Proven experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems and microservices in production.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring / Spring Boot or equivalent enterprise Java frameworks.
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design, contract management, and backward compatibility in microservices ecosystems.
• Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL), schema design, and ORM technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and automated testing in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) in cloud environments.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other major cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
