Lead Generation Specialist (IT Sales)

About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Generation Specialist – IT Sales with 2+ years of experience to generate qualified leads and manage the end-to-end IT sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to conversion and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, cold calling, email campaigns, online research, and other B2B channels.
• Identify and target potential clients for websites, mobile applications, software solutions, digital marketing, and other IT services.
• Conduct prospect research and maintain an updated database of potential clients.
• Make outbound calls, send emails, and connect with decision-makers to understand business requirements.
• Handle the complete sales cycle including lead generation, qualification, requirement gathering, proposal, negotiation, follow-ups, and closure.
• Prepare and deliver company/service presentations, quotations, and proposals to prospective clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Follow up consistently with prospects and maintain accurate updates in CRM/sales trackers.
• Achieve monthly lead generation, sales, and revenue targets.
• Coordinate with the technical/project team to understand client requirements and ensure smooth handover after closure.
• Track market trends, competitors, and new business opportunities to improve sales strategies.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in Lead Generation / B2B IT Sales / Business Development.
• Strong knowledge of IT products and services such as websites, mobile apps, software, SaaS, and digital solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and convincing skills.
• Hands-on experience with LinkedIn, email marketing, cold calling, and online lead generation tools.
• Ability to identify decision-makers and generate qualified B2B leads.
• Strong follow-up and client relationship management skills.
• Target-oriented with the ability to work independently and achieve sales goals.
• Good understanding of the complete IT sales lifecycle.

Preferred Candidate

• Experience working with domestic and international B2B clients will be an advantage.
• Experience in selling IT services/products to startups, SMEs, and enterprises is preferred.
• Candidates with a proven record of achieving sales targets will be preferred.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Django Developer with extensive experience in building and scaling financial or payments-based applications. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of system design, architecture patterns, and testing best practices, along with a strong grasp of the startup environment.

This role requires a balance of hands-on coding, architectural design, and collaboration across teams to deliver robust and scalable financial products.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Python (Django framework).
• Architect system components, define database schemas, and optimize backend services for speed and efficiency.
• Lead and implement design patterns and software architecture best practices.
• Ensure code quality through comprehensive unit testing, integration testing, and participation in code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, QA, and Frontend teams to build seamless end-to-end solutions.
• Drive performance improvements, monitor system health, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Apply domain knowledge in payments and finance, including transaction processing, reconciliation, settlements, wallets, UPI, etc.
• Contribute to technical decision-making and mentor junior developers.

Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years of professional backend development experience with Python and Django.
• Strong background in payments/financial systems or FinTech applications.
• Proven experience in designing software architecture in a microservices or modular monolith environment.
• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments with agile practices.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs, SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis).
• Solid understanding of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Hands-on experience with test-driven development (TDD) and frameworks like pytest, unit test, or factory boy.
• Familiarity with security best practices in financial applications (PCI compliance, data encryption, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to event-driven architecture ( 
• Experience integrating with third-party payment gateways, banking APIs, or financial instruments.
• Understanding of DevOps and monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).
• Contributions to open-source or personal finance-related projects.
