Senior Java Developer

Backend Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users.

Your primary focus will be the development of all server side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

We are looking to recruit a candidate for a role that will require:

• Create and consume restful APIs
• Design, develop, and maintain internal and external applications
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable modules
• Write high quality, structured application/interface code and documentation

Requirement

Job Responsibilities :

- Work closely with product managers and other cross functional teams to help define, scope and deliver world-class products and high quality features addressing key user needs.

- Translate requirements into system architecture and implement code while considering performance issues of dealing with billions of rows of data and serving millions of API requests every hour.

About the Role -

We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Java Engineer to drive the development of our B2B product suite. In this pivotal role, you will build robust, scalable, and intuitive applications that empower customers to seamlessly handle money movement transactions, including international payments. Job Description:

About the Tech

Technology and our people is what makes Tide possible. • BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in software development in an object-oriented language such as Java, .NET or Node.Js
• Exceptional design, coding, and problem-solving skills, with a bias for architecture at scale.
• Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, front-end technologies like AngularJS, Redux / React and upcoming web technologies.
• Real-world experience developing large scale commercial services with robust performance, resiliency, and telemetry, delivered both Online and OnPrem.
• Strong knowledge of computer science, algorithms, and design patterns.
