Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Node.js Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering with a focus on JavaScript, Node.js, and modern web technologies. You will play a key role in building scalable backend services, integrating APIs, and contributing to full-stack development using frameworks like ReactJS.

Key Responsibilities

·         Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Node.js

·         Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic

·         Develop and consume RESTful APIs for various services

·         Write clean, maintainable, and secure code following best practices

·         Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance

·         Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms where needed

·         Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions

·         Maintain and monitor applications on Linux-based environments

Required Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

·         Minimum 8 years of professional programming experience

·         At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Node.js development

·         Strong knowledge of JavaScript, particularly in browser-based frameworks such as ReactJS and Redux

·         Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express or Hapi (preferred)

·         Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and its patterns

·         Skilled in troubleshooting and debugging complex applications

·         Familiarity with Linux environments

·         Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and API integration

Responsibilities for Jr. Node JS Developer: 3+yrs

· Should have relevant object-oriented application-building experience in a professional environment.

· Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.

· Implementation of security and data protection.

· Thorough understanding of relational databases such as MySQL or similar technologies.

· Excellent coding skills in Node.js, and JavaScript.

· Knowledge of working closely with code versioning tools like git.

· Excellent communication skills and being able to work independently or in a full team.

Required Skills:

· Strong proficiency with JavaScript.

· strong hold on Node.js and frameworks.

· Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.

· Good understanding of server-side templating languages.

· Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors.

· Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3.

· Understanding accessibility and security compliance.

· User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.

· Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.

· Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.

· Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.

· Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.

- Expert level skills in Coldfusion 9

- Expert level skills in MachII and Coldspring frameworks.

- Databases: Expert level skills in one or more of Oracle. MySQL is a plus.

- Javascript: Expert level skills in one or more of Javascript/jQuery/YUI

- Excellent debugging and trouble shooting skills [Client side, Server side, DB]

- Knowledge and skills in static code analysis and performance management tools [Client side, Server side, Database]

- Expert level skills and understanding of any of the SCM/VCS like SVN and GIT etc.

- UI: HTML/CSS

- Expert level skills in OOPS concepts

- ORM concepts and understanding is a plus.

Nice to have Skills:

- Work experience/understanding of any of the following Web Services/XML/SOAP/REST/WCF/Web APIs is preferred

- Work experience/expertise in Healthcare domain

- Work experience/expertise Java and Spring framework is a plus.
