Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer with min 3 year of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining websites, as well as customizing themes and templates.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain WordPress websites and plugins
• Customize WordPress themes and templates to meet clients' requirements
• Collaborate with designers, project managers and other developers to ensure timely delivery of projects
• Troubleshoot and debug WordPress sites and plugins
• Optimize WordPress sites for speed and performance
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Web Developer for at least 3 years
• Strong understanding of WordPress core, theme and plugin development
• Experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Good understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with Webflow, wix would be added advantage
• Should be based out in Bengaluru / Karnataka

Siloho is a home-tech startup founded by Shan Gehlot and Pranshu Sharma, who are IIT-B alumni and serial entrepreneurs with extensive experience in the hospitality and fintech industry. It is funded by some marquee angel investors which includes the likes of Delhivery co-founders.

We are building an integrated marketplace platform which enables the key stakeholders - real estate developers, interior designers and product vendors to collaborate and help the homeowner in their quest to create a beautiful home which reflects their personality, culture and taste. Our vision is to create India’s largest marketplace of cost effective and executable design and product solutions .

Home design is a very fast growing market currently served by either full stack design companies like Livspace & Homelane or independent designers and contractors. However, the largest segment of customers are not satisfied with these two options since they want a semi DIY and cost effective solution - collaborative designs, and supervised execution. We are going after this untapped segment with a product offering which includes industry best visualization and customization tools to cater to these

Responsibilities

• Create attractive designs and layouts for various projects
• Meet with client in order to understand the client's objectives and desires
• Communicate effectively with client, vendors and team in order to address client's needs
• Prepare presentations (3D, 2D,mock-ups and renderings) for clients
• Create quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followed
• Prepare BOQ with regards to budget and design
• Maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree 5-10 years of experience in related field Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite
• Strong creative and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to execute

Role Responsibilities: 

• Participate in requirements gathering, identify and document user needs after extensive research through interviews and discussions with target users and stakeholders from the business. 
• Design effective new user experiences as well as improve existing ones. Validate the created User Experiences to meet envisaged goals and stipulated standards. All this should be done within agile sprints.
• You are expected to collaborate across the spectrum with product development and marketing teams to facilitate dissipation of the deeper context of the product being worked upon. 

Expected Expertise: 

• Preferably have a B.Des/DesDegree or equivalent degree with experience in Design industry with an amazing design portfolio. Have 0-3 years of experience in UX Research. 
• A user-centred approach to design with experience in conducting user research 
• Experience in employing any of the relevant research methods: unmoderated sessions, Tree sorts, surveys, A/B tests, ethnographic enquiries, UX heuristics and benchmarking, to name a few.
• Effective Communication and collaboration skills that enable team-members to build robust products from the researched insights.
• Should be eager to see the bigger picture by connecting the dots of the product, users, stakeholders and context.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and define product vision, create the roadmap and drive its execution
• Define, track and improve the key product metrics
• Think analytically about workflows and the impact of product features on conversion
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams like product managers, developers, designers, marketing and SEO to drive the product execution

Requirements:

• Gathering business and functional requirements.
• Developing requirements documents: goal model, functional modeling, business process, customer interactions/wireframes; writing high-level user requirements (Epics and User Stories) and Process flows/analysis in JIRA

We're seeking a Head of Design Education to join us as part of the Founding team to help us run a successful cohort and build a foundation for future programs.

Key responsibilities

• Own the program experience in terms of identifying focus areas, pedagogy, learning outcomes, and evaluation criterion, and ensuring a high placement rate
• Collaborate closely with our instructional designer to innovate on scalable &highly engaging learning experiences
• Conduct regular Office Hours to guide learners on their projects and curate learning resources for both the cohort and the broader design community
• Collaborate with our community manager to grow our learner and mentor communities

You ideally have

• Around 6 years worth of experience in designing digital products/experiences, preferably with some experience at fast-growing startups
• Strong interest in making design education accessible and outcome-driven
• Experience with conducting or organising conference talks or workshops
• Excellent communication skills
