• Software Design and Development: Lead and contribute to the design, architecture, and development of software applications within the "I" domain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and product managers, to define requirements and specifications for software projects. • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, guiding them in best practices, code reviews, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. Act as a subject matter expert in software design principles, programming languages, and development methodologies. • System Integration: Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate software components with hardware systems or existing software infrastructure. Ensure seamless integration and compatibility of software modules. • Code Review and Quality Assurance: Review code written by other team members to ensure adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and maintainability. Perform thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve software defects. • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, architecture diagrams, and user manuals. • Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to the "I" domain. Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies that can enhance the software development process and product performance. • Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, estimate effort, and plan development timelines. Description

• Develop & support Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions that add value to DHL Express Functions.
• Manage the day-to-day activities pertaining to Robotic Process Automation (RPA) processes and solutions.
• Required preparation, update and regular review all relevant RPA documentation for the service line and the supporting/enabling functions
• Support the team in cultivating culture of continuous improvement and innovation
• Manage team administrative requirements for the team
• Designing practical and effective solutions to address improvement opportunities – both cost and performance.
• Successfully implement RPA initiatives with DHL Express Business Partners
• Ability to relate to cross-cultural processes and country sensitivities
• Responsible for process documentations (i.e. process maps)

• Qualified University Degree holder specializing in IT field (Software Development)
• At least 4+ years working experience in the Software Development Environment is preferred
• IT knowledge in software development process is a must
• Good understanding of IT development process
• Able to develop tools/solutions using programming language .Net and MSSQL
• Strong interest in Robotic Process Automation area
• Hands on experience on .Net Development will be added advantage

Desired Candidate profile

● Architect and build scalable front-end web solutions using JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS and other fundamental web technologies. 
● Build reusable code and libraries using iterative development practices for future use

● Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop. 
● Implement monitoring, metric dashboards, runbooks, logging, escalations, and alerts.

● Drive code and design reviews of components / systems / products in scope and drive the architectural governance for them. 
● Implement best practices and constantly learn new ways of keeping code bases up to date 
 
Roles and Responsibilities:

● A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals (based on a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field) from reputed institutes 
● 4+ years of development experience in modern web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript), frameworks (React, Backbone.js, AngularJS, , etc) 
● Ability to build a feature from scratch & drive it to completion 
● Prior hands-on experience in building responsive web interfaces at scale for consumers in a product engineering setup 
● Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system 
● Excellent problem solving, debugging and optimization skills 
● Strong knowledge of browser behavior, performance, compatibility and cross-browser issues 
● Good understanding of REST API 
● Familiar with front-end build tools, such as Webpack, Grunt and Gulp.js

Responsibilities: -

• You would take ownership of the existing system and scale it more than 10X over the next 2 years.
• Apply best coding standards.
• You would create the infrastructure that can serve 100s of customers and millions of data requests per hour.
• Over the next year or so, you would be able to guide a team of 5 to 15 people to accomplish your goals. Mentoring this team into a world-class engineering team would be a key part of your role.
