Role Overview:
We’re looking for a Lead Software Engineer who brings deep expertise in one core technical area and can collaborate effectively across the rest. You’ll lead development in your domain, contribute to system-wide architecture, and ensure smooth, secure, and efficient AI-powered workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive end-to-end feature development in your area of expertise—from design to deployment.
- Write high-quality, maintainable code with a strong focus on performance, security, and correctness.
- Test your code locally and in staging environments, with full ownership of debugging and validation.
- Use Git and ticket tracking tools (e.g., Linear) with rigor and consistency.
- Collaborate with teammates to plan, commit, and deliver against weekly sprint goals.
- Contribute to observability and logging for AI agents to improve reliability and traceability.
- Actively participate in code reviews and discussions, bringing clarity and pragmatism to technical decisions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Core Technical Expertise:
We expect deep strength in at least one of the following areas:
- LLM integration and prompt engineering - Building intelligent workflows using techniques like prompt chaining, tool usage, and system prompting.
- LangGraph, LangChain, or other agent orchestration frameworks - Experience with building agent graphs and orchestrating LLM-based workflows.
- Vector databases & Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) - Using tools like FAISS, Weaviate, or Pinecone for semantic search and RAG pipelines.
- Graph-based reasoning - using Neo4j, Küzu, or similar systems.
- Backend engineering for AI systems - Experience with frameworks and databases such as FastAPI, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis.
- Semantic data pipelines, embeddings, and enrichment tooling - Bringing structured and unstructured data together to power AI workflows.
- Agent state management and observability instrumentation - Designing systems that are traceable, debuggable, and production-grade.

Engineering Discipline:
- Strong grasp of cloud-based development and Dockerized environments
- Experience with API-based systems and document-style interactions

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
You will join a team designing and building a data warehouse covering both relational and dimensional models, developing reports, data marts and other extracts and delivering these via SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and PowerBI. It is seen as playing a vital role in delivering a single version of the truth on Client’s data and delivering MI & BI that will feature in enabling both operational and strategic decision making. You will be able to take responsibility for projects over the entire software lifecycle and work with minimum supervision.
