Roles:

• Design frontend architecture.
• Provide solution for business needs.
• 9+ years of experience in modern Javascript frameworks (Angular JS, Knockout, React) and other front end technologies (HTML5, CSS 3, Bootstrap)
• Caching techniques such as Service workers to improve the front end performance.
• Experience in unit testing automation frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine, Protractor.
• Experience in optimization of UI for mobile & tablet devices for infinite & smooth scrolling.
• Experience in Service side rendering technologies such as Angular 10. 0, typescript, React JS.
• Experience in setting up DevOps & Continuous Delivery pipeline for front end technologies using a standard platform such as Jenkins, Puppet , Team City or IBM Urban Build.
• Code quality measurement using automated tools as well as manual code reviews for Javascript technologies

Building out this brand presents significant product and engineering challenges. At the center of solving those challenges is the TAPPP Product Engineering team which is responsible for the TAPPP product end to end.

TAPPP is led by a very able leadership team drawn from Industry leaders from companies like ESPN, Amazon, Blackhawk, Kargocard, Visa, and many others.

Who are we looking for:

A coding enthusiast who loves writing elegant code and developing software systems.

As a Roku developer, you will be a part of the core product development team that is responsible for building high-performant components of the TAPPP platform.

Your responsibility:

• You will be responsible for designing, coding, reviewing, testing, and bug-fixing different modules of the software product that needs to work seamlessly across different environments.
• Write production-quality code in Brightscript / Scenegraph.
• Write unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability.
• You will work in an Agile team, working on the TAPPP revolutionary platform. 
• Interface with other teams and/or third-party vendors to assist in the deployment of applications on Roku platforms.

Mandatory technical skills:

• At least 3 years of experience in developing apps for Roku devices.
• Strong knowledge of BrightScript, SceneGraph, and core scripting languages like JS.
• Experience with REST APIs interaction and a strong understanding of client-server architectures.
• Experience with Media Playback, streaming concepts, HLS, and manifests.

Responsibilities

• Interact closely with design, product, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactive interfaces across multiple devices.
• Turning UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating excellent interactions from designs, writing reusable content modules and maintainability of the code.

Requirements

Job Description:

We are looking for a good JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

• Product Development: Partner with the founder & product team to create a product roadmap. Play a key role in influencing customer journey, experience & specs (requirements) with UX designer. Develop front end & back end systems and product. 
• Project Management: Ensure product development roadmap timelines are achieved in a timely way with the right quality with progress being reported daily. 
• Technology Excellence: Ensure that products have best in class performance on technology driven aspects (load times, latencies, uptimes, etc.). 
• Hiring & Developing: Hire junior engineers, divide project workloads & mentor them to continuously improve.
• Continuous Improvement: Establish intake mechanism to convert user feedback into actionable upgrades in product design, track feature improvements & their progress and create rapid improvement cycles.
