A Day in the Life
- Review pending tickets and join team stand-up to set priorities.
- Assist customers via phone, email, or chat, troubleshooting POS system issues.
- Escalate complex cases and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams.
- Log case details, update knowledge base, and share customer feedback.
- End the day by reviewing resolved cases and preparing handovers.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer queries via phone, email, or chat and provide prompt technical support for WowPe POS systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software, hardware, and connectivity issues.
- Escalate unresolved or complex technical problems to the Product and Engineering teams.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and solutions in the support system.
- Update and improve knowledge base articles with new solutions and best practices.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely follow-ups and effective problem resolution.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (BBA/B.Com/BE/B.Tech preferred).
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to address client queries.
- Basic understanding of sales processes and CRM tools (preferred)
- Knowledge of technical troubleshooting and support (added advantage)

You will:
- Develop production-ready code to meet scope of requirements.

You have:
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Computer Science or a related field, OR 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
- 2+ years of hands-on Android application development using Kotlin and Android Studio.
- Experience with modern Android libraries and frameworks, including Jetpack components (e.g., Navigation, Room, ViewModel, LiveData), Retrofit for networking, and image loading libraries (e.g., Glide, Coil).
- Proficiency with asynchronous programming using Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.

Key Responsibilities & Activities
1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis
○ Engage with clients to understand their business processes and objectives.
○ Conduct in-depth analysis of client requirements to identify specific needs.
○ Provide process consulting by mapping ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ processes to ensure maximum utilization of standard Odoo features.
2. Odoo Setup & Configuration
○ Set up Odoo environments based on the customer’s hosting preferences.
○ Configure Odoo applications to align with client-specific business workflows.
○ Set up companies, users, and access rights based on organizational structure and security needs.
3. Functional Architecting (for Customization Requirements)
○ Conduct GAP analysis to identify business requirements that necessitate custom development.
○ Define functional workflows for business processes requiring customization.
○ Draft user stories or detailed functional specifications to guide the technical team.
4. Data Migration
○ Plan and execute data migration strategies from legacy systems to Odoo.
○ Perform data imports (via templates or scripts) and validate data accuracy post-migration.
○ Troubleshoot and resolve any data-related discrepancies.
5. Training
○ Conduct end-user training sessions on both standard and customized Odoo features.
○ Develop training materials and user documentation for effective onboarding.
○ Provide ongoing support and address user queries during the training phase.
6. Testing
○ Perform functional testing to ensure quality before delivering features to the client.
○ Support clients during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and follow up to ensure completion.
○ Define success criteria for user stories involving development or customization.
7. Go-live
○ Plan and execute cutover activities for go-live.
○ Ensure smooth transition and provide immediate support during the go-live period.

8. Support
○ Provide ongoing support to end-users after implementation.

Your Roles and Responsibilities
Synapsica is looking for a Principal AI Researcher to lead and drive AI based research and development efforts. Ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Computer Vision and AI Research, either through studies or industrial R&D projects and should be excited to work on advanced exploratory research and development projects in computer vision and machine learning to create the next generation of advanced radiology solutions.
The role involves computer vision tasks including development customization and training of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs); application of ML techniques (SVM, regression, clustering etc.), and traditional Image Processing (OpenCV, etc.). The role is research-focused and would involve going through and implementing existing research papers, deep dive of problem analysis, frequent review of results, generating new ideas, building new models from scratch, publishing papers, automating and optimizing key processes. The role will span from real-world data handling to the most advanced methods such as transfer learning, generative models, reinforcement learning, etc., with a focus on understanding quickly and experimenting even faster. Suitable candidate will collaborate closely both with the medical research team, software developers and AI research scientists. The candidate must be creative, ask questions, and be comfortable challenging the status quo. The position is based in our Bangalore office.
Primary Responsibilities
- Interface between product managers and engineers to design, build, and deliver AI models and capabilities for our spine products.
- Formulate and design AI capabilities of our stack with special focus on computer vision.
- Strategize end-to-end model training flow including data annotation, model experiments, model optimizations, model deployment and relevant automations
