Job Description

This role must be capable of building Dot net application and integration capabilities to enable microservice architecture. In addition to being hands on developer, the role requires the individual to leading and work with Dot net developers and integration developers, overseeing the end to end technical working to deliver features. Candidates who like to experiment and learn/discover new technologies, methods, tools with a direction to bring new capabilities to the product will be suitable

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Product Discovery proof of concepts as directed by Product manager
• Design, develop, and maintain both new and existing code, ranging from client-side development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, to server-side code using C# and ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Windows services, and ADO.NET for data persistence and retrieval.
• Write readable, extensible, testable code, while being mindful of performance requirements. • Create, maintain, and run unit tests for both new and existing code, with a goal of delivering defect-free and well-tested code to QA.
• Capable of developing restful services using Dot net framework and other integration tools
• Work with management to create and adhere to schedules, while maintaining flexibility to adapt to shifting market demands.
• Translate mockups and wireframes into functioning front-end code.
• Write and maintain documentation for new and existing features.
• Keep up-to-date on best practices and new technologies.
• Rapid prototyping, and presenting conceptual design and working prototypes to management.
• Conduct design and code reviews and collaborate to ensure your own code passes review.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in Dot Net framework preferably in cloud based platforms/infrastructure
• Experience in integration enablement preferably in REST APIs
• Experience in Database languages and stored procedures, database query optimization
• Experimental knowledge in a broad technical aspects like SSO (SAML2/Oauth2), Security, RPA, Microservices architecture

BE with 6+ years of experience in product development

Key Responsibilities:

● Work closely with product managers, designers, frontend developers, and other

cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration and alignment of frontend and

backend technologies, driving cohesive and high-quality product delivery.

● Develop and implement coding standards and best practices for the backend team.

● Document technical specifications and procedures.

● Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies, trends, and best practices.

● Collaborate with other departments to identify and address backend-related issues.

● Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and consistency across the backend team.

● Create technical documentation, ensuring clarity for future development and

maintenance.

Requirements;

● Experience: 4-6 years of hands-on experience in backend development, with a strong

background in product-based companies or startups.

● Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or a related field.

● Programming skills: Proficient in Python and software development principles, with a

focus on clean, maintainable code, and industry best practices. Experienced in unit

testing, AI-driven code reviews, version control with Git, CI/CD pipelines using GitHub

Actions, and integrating New Relic for logging and APM into backend systems.

● Database Development: Proficiency in developing and optimizing backend systems in

both relational and non-relational database environments, such as MySQL and NoSQL

databases.

● GraphQL: Proven experience in developing and managing robust GraphQL APIs,

preferably using Apollo Server. Ability to design type-safe GraphQL schemas and

resolvers, ensuring seamless integration and high performance.

● Cloud Platforms: Familiar with AWS and experienced in Docker containerization and

orchestrating containerized systems.

● System Architecture: Proficient in system design and architecture with experience in

developing multi-tenant platforms, including security implementation, user onboarding,

payment integration, and scalable architecture.

● Linux Systems: Familiarity with Linux systems is mandatory, including deployment and

management.

influence architectural decisions and drive continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE 

1.   3.5 to 12-14 years of experience as a Software Developer.

2.   Experience in .Net technologies - C#, ASP.net is must.

3.   Experience in developing REST based PAPIs.

4.   Experience in building web user interface.

5.   Good to have experience in developing single page apps using modern JS framework.

6.   Skills in cross browser development.

7.   Understanding of Agile methodology.

8.   Excellent trouble shooting and communication skills.

9.   Knowledge of Azure will be an added advantage.

• Engineering degree in Computer science or ECE or MCA is a must
• In-depth knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX
• Experience using PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, Zend, etc. - any 1 is required
• VueJS, AngularJS, ReactJS - knowledge of any 1 is required
• Between 1-5 years of work experience is required
• Very strong data structure and algorithm knowledge
• Ideal candidate would be a very strong developer with great coding skills
