Requirements:

Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js)

Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus

The Back- end Developer will use his or her understanding of programming languages and tools to analyze current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users.

Job Responsibilities:

• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.

The Language Engineering team works on the source code analyzers, including both programming languages and configuration-as-code systems. As a member of the Language Engineering team, you will work on building the best, most comprehensive, Python analyzer in the world. You will add new rules and Autofixes for finding more issues with code and automatically fixing them. You will be involved with the Python community to understand the problems with static analysis tools in the ecosystem.

• Identify bad code practices in Python and write new analyzers to detect them.

• Improve the coverage of automatically fixable issues.

• Ensure fewer false positives are reported by the analyzer.

• Work on the internal tools that support analysis runtimes.

• Contribute to open-source static analysis tools.

• Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science.

• At least 2 years of professional software development experience in Python.

• Understanding of the nuances of execution of the source code (AST, data flow graphs, etc).

• Familiarity with Python best practices followed in the industry.

• Native experience with Linux/Unix environment.

We are actively seeking software development engineers who are interested in designing robust trading systems and refining programs to efficiently manage various types of financial market data that facilitate our quantitative investment research. By designing and improving the firm's internal applications, the SDE will play a key role in expanding the firm's trading capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Management & scaling up existing infrastructure for high-frequency market data capture.
• Develop a scalable and consistent data handling infrastructure for the above data to facilitate efficient backtesting of quantitative investment strategies.
• Perform R& D; to build a software platform in Python for backtesting various kind of investment strategies using the above databases.
• This will involve studying the strategy development process and performance evaluation metrics.
• Develop autopilot risk-management systems to monitor live performance of the Portfolio.
• Improve the existing algorithms to achieve better execution price and reduce the latency.

Requirements:

Our ideal candidate would have graduated with a degree in computer science from a top university with 1-3 years industry experience, along with:

• High Level of proficiency in Python and good knowledge of Matlab/C++/C#.
• Past experience in dealing with large datasets and Knowledge of database administration and network programming will be a plus.
