Technical Project Manager - India
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and create project scope and milestones for project initiatives
- Manage the handling and assigning of daily tasks within the team
- Hold regular meetings with all team members to ensure open communication and expectations throughout a project
- Actively seek to resolve any concerns while adhering to the company policy and standards of behavior
- Review developers on their performance and productivity
- Manage and appropriately escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes associated to the product development initiatives
- Work effectively with Project Managers, Product Managers and Product Owners to ensure delivery against agreed priorities
- Accountable for the on time and to quality delivery of software development projects
- Development of requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties
- Ability to independently manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and project team
- Is responsible for change management including ownership of documentation, communication plans, process training, etc
- Ensures all the required products are produced and reviewed, including the technical leadership of requirements management, design, implementation, system integration, verification, test, quality assurance, delivery, operations, and sustainment of the technical solution
Required Competencies:
- 10+ years of experience in Software Development and 5 years in People Management
- Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Hand-on experience working in Microsoft Technologies: ASP.Net 4.5 (Webforms), .Net Core, JavaScript, WebAPI and SQL
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral), and demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives and stakeholders
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, relationship building skills, and ability to achieve results without direct reporting relationships
- Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work, both personally and at a team level
- Ability to independently manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and project team
- Demonstrated ability in people management, strategic planning, risk management, change management, and project management
- Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
- Should be able to rise to the occasion to write, review and test the code
