What will you do at Fynd?

• Play an active role in SDET during all phases of our product development from requirements elaboration, design/development, test and deployment
• Responsible for manual and automated testing activities for a multi-tier web-based platform. This includes writing test cases based on business requirements, test data creation, creating and maintaining automated scripts to test front-end, API’s and database changes
• Execution of the test phase consistent with the overall project schedules
• Direct interaction/facilitation of bug resolution with engineering teams
• Works effectively within a dynamic team environment following standards and best practices and ensure the highest level of quality
• Ability to understand the technical architecture, its implementation, design patterns, data representations and infrastructure powering these systems.
• Work closely with SDEs and solution architects to understand the tech stack, design and accordingly build the test frameworks, setup infra and build execution models to drive the end-to-end quality efforts of backend systems/services and client apps
• Should be able to debug test failures, read through logs, network calls and make preliminary root cause analysis of defect/bug
• Should be able to develop test plans, test cases, test design documents with good coverage and optimised testing approach
• Should be able to identify the test cases qualifying for test automation
• Creating and maintaining all QA related documentation throughout the process
• Use of tracking tools to log, manage, resolve and report on

Some specific Requirements

• Proficiency in Python
• Good understanding of REST APIs and a solid experience in testing APIs. Should have built APIs at some point and practical knowledge on working with them
• Must have experience in API testing tools like Postman and in setting up the prerequisites and post-execution validations using these tools
• Ability to develop applications for test automation
• Should have worked in a distributed micro-service environment
• Hands-on experience with Python packages for testing (preferably pytest). Should be able to create fixtures, mock objects and datasets that can be used by tests across different micro-services
• Proficiency in git
• Strong in writing SQL queries
• Tools like Jira, Asana or similar bug tracking tool, Confluence - Wiki, Jenkins - CI tool
• Excellent written and oral communication and organisational skills with the ability to work within a growing company with increasing needs
• At least 2 - 4 years of professional experience in quality assurance or/and software application development
• Proven track record of ability to handle time-critical projects

Good to have

• Good understanding of CI/CD
• Knowledge of queues, especially Kafka
• Ability to independently manage test environment deployments and handle issues around it
• Performed load testing of API endpoints
• Should have built an API test automation framework from scratch and maintained it
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure
• Knowledge of different browsers and cross-platform operating systems
• Knowledge of JavaScript
• 2+ years experience in test automation using tools like TestNG, Selenium Webdriver (Grid, parallel, SauceLabs), Mocha_Chai front-end and backend test automation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Computer Applications

What will you do at Fynd?

• Maintain a healthy bottom line and the top line on Fynd Store, strategize and plan the sales in order to ensure the brand grows on Fynd Store.
• Expand the relationships with existing Brands by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
• Achieve / exceed target KPIs including : Sales%, Orders %, monthly Application usage, and Non Performing Brands/Stores
• Prospect and acquire brands for the platform by closing deals with the best brands across the country
• Understanding the brand proposition, negotiating with brands on commercial agreements, and setting proper expectations
• Overseeing the onboarding process for new brands on to the platform and working with various stakeholders inside and outside for quick turnaround
• Building strong communication channels at all levels of the brand organization to strengthen relationships, successfully execute initiatives, and drive growth
• Being hands-on with data, create dashboards and reports to share with brands you manage on the platform.
• Working with the brand’s internal marketing team to strategize and execute new and relevant marketing campaigns and promotion plans to drive brand visibility, traffic, and transactions.
• Identifying opportunities to deepen the relationship with the brand organization; expanding the product and brand portfolio
• Maintaining a broad understanding of the brand’s P&L, revenue targets, and gross margins and using it for better decision-making
• Staying updated on retail and digital trends.
• End-to-end ownership of the brand’s business growth.

Some specific Requirements

• 3 -6 years of relevant experience in category management, retail management, or the e-commerce industry.
• Self-driven individual who takes initiative and complete ownership of their work
• A decent understanding and/or a strong interest in the Retail/e-Commerce sector, brand awareness, and retail trends.
• Work experience around Front end retail will be an added advantage
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Basic digital marketing understanding.
• A customer-centric, creative, and analytical problem-solving mindset
• Advanced data handling/Excel skills and a keen eye for detail
• Open to short/long term travel at short notice or relocation
• Assisting senior team members in identifying opportunities to capture new brands and working with the team to craft a compelling pitch to get the brands on board

We want new ambitious research members to join our Machine Learning Research group. We are looking for people with a proven track record in computer vision research. In this role, we create new models, algorithms and approaches to solve challenging machine learning problems. Some of our problems areas include Image Restoration, Image Enhancement, Generative Models and 3D computer vision. You will work on various state-of-art new techniques to improve and optimize neural networks and also use computer vision approaches to solve various problems. You will be required to have in-depth knowledge of image processing and convolutional neural networks. You will tackle our challenging problems also have the freedom to try out your ideas and pursue research topics of your interest.

What you will do:

• Engage in advanced research to push the boundaries of computer vision technology. Leverage core image processing and computer vision fundamentals along with focus on transformer based models, generative adversarial networks (GANs), diffusion models, and other advanced deep learning methods.
• Develop and enhance models for practical applications, including image processing, object detection, image segmentation, and scene understanding, leveraging recent innovations in the field.
• Apply contemporary methodologies to address complex, real-world challenges and create innovative, deployable solutions that enhance our products and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new computer vision technologies and solutions into our product suite.
• Remain current with the latest developments in computer vision and deep learning, including emerging techniques and best practices.
• Document and communicate research findings through publications in top-tier conferences and journals, and contribute to the academic community.

Skills needed:

• A BS, MS, PhD, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Extensive research experience in computer vision, with a focus on deep learning techniques such as transformers, GANs, diffusion, and other emerging models.
• Proficiency in Python, with experience in deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch
• Deep understanding of mathematical principles relevant to computer vision, including linear algebra, optimization, and statistics.
• Proven ability to bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical application, effectively translating innovative ideas into deployable solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset to address complex challenges and apply contemporary research effectively.

• Relevant Experience : Minimum 2 Years
• You have prior experience developing and working on consumer facing web/app products
• Hands-on experience on Python. Exceptions can be made if you’re really good on any other language with experience on building web/app based tech products
• Experience in at least one of the following frameworks - Django, Flask, Falcon, web2py, Twisted, Tornado
• Working knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB, Redis
• Good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms and Operating Systems
• You've worked with core AWS services in the past and have experience with EC2, ELB, AutoScaling, CloudFront, S3
• You can dabble in Frontend codebases using HTML, CSS and Javascript
