SAP CAP / Sr. Node.js Developer

This is an opportunity for a hardcore developer who has good experience in working with SAP’s Business Technology Platform, including usage of SAP’s CAP (Cloud Application Programming) model and Node.js.

The SAP CAP / Node.js Developer Role

You will be responsible for developing CAP / Node.js oriented enhancements for our products, either as part of SPOSEA product development or customer projects.

As part of our Agile development approach, you will report to your respective Scrum Master and make use of the Agile process management tool Azure DevOps.

From SPOSEA’s product development perspective, you will have the opportunity to influence the technical architecture of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Get and maintain a good understanding of our products.
• Keep content in the online Agile process management tool Azure DevOps up to date to increase transparency and efficiency of the team’s work.
• Contribute to stand-up meetings.
• Create estimates based on provided requirements.
• Implement requirements using CAP and Node.js.
• Write technical documentation for implemented requirements.
• Assist during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Go-Live.
• Help colleagues where needed and contribute to continuous knowledge building and sharing.

Your Profile

We are seeking someone with full software development lifecycle experience on SAP Business Technology Platform, making use of CAP and Node.js.

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of hands-on development experience with CAP and Node.js.
• Proven skills in building scalable web applications / cloud services using modern web technologies (jQuery, Server-Side JS, REST, OData).
• Clear understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (Cloud Foundry) and available platform services.
• Solid knowledge of microservices architecture and service mesh, with the ability to design and develop microservices-based applications.
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience with Java, Python, or SQL usage in applications (especially with SAP HANA) is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP systems functionality, SAP Fiori UX principles, or GraphQL is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial and problem-solving mindset.
• DevOps mindset with a strong sense of ownership through the deployment lifecycle and Agile product development.
• Experience working with AI tools for accelerated development.

Education Level

You preferably have a degree (Bachelor’s / Master’s / Diploma) in Business, IT, or Engineering.

✅ Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP Vistex
• Expertise in Incentive Management, Rebates, Chargebacks, and Claims Processing
• Strong integration experience with SAP SD/MM
• Should have done at least 1 full-cycle implementation
• Good understanding of Vistex modules like Deal Management, Pricing, and Contract Setup
• Support & Enhancement project experience preferred

Position Description:

Position Objectives:

SAP SCM Architect will involve in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA transformation program for customer. The Consultant should have good hands-on experiences on the SD, MM, PM, WM, PP, QM & IS-Retail modules of SAP. He/she will interact with the business and get the requirement to map it in SAP S/4HANA SCM modules. Must be able to guide the onsite and offshore functional and technical teams from SCM perspective. The person should be Bilingual (Able to Speak/Read/Write Thai and English language fluently)

The SAP SCM Architect should be able conduct workshop at client location to showcase the solution implemented in SAP S/4HANA as per the business requirements. He/she should be proficient in making configuration changes and deployment in both ECC and SAP S/4HANA.

Experience in Telecom Business will be preferable.

Key Relationships:

Onsite: Client IT and Business, TCS Project Manager and the rest of the TCS onsite functional/technical team

Offshore: TCS Offshore Project Manager, offshore functional/technical delivery team

Key Responsibilities:

The SAP SCM Architect is responsible for:

·       Participate/manage important client engagements regarding the implementation of mainly SAP S/4HANA SCM modules. Should be able to capture and translate business needs into functional specifications

·       Assist/Manage projects independently from blueprint to go-live by applying project management techniques as well as technical and business knowledge to ensure that high-quality results are obtained for customer.

·       Develop a high degree of S/4HANA product knowledge.

·       Design Build, enhance, maintain, and support the SCM solution.

·       Good experience in collaborating on integration with POS systems and integration of SCM modules with FI, CO, PS, etc. modules.

·       Map the current SAP ECC SCM processes into SAP S/4HANA.

·       Involve in design, development, integration of SAP S/4HANA system.

·       Actively share product and functional knowledge within the technical team

·       Lead the SCM project team

Position Specification:

Qualifications, Experience & Specialist Skills:

Essential:

The SAP SCM Architect must possess:

·       Mainly SAP SD, MM, PM, and preferable PP, QM & IS-Retail Functional Skills with at least 2 full cycle implementations in SAP S/4HANA.

Management Skills:

The SAP SCM Architect must be able to:

·       Connect with offshore team and guide technical teams.

·       Manage a team of SCM consultants and deliver quality solutions.

Interpersonal/Language Skills:

The SAP SCM Architect must be able to:

·       Guide and mentor junior associates and able to cross skill others

·       Able to work in teams at onsite and offshore location

·       Must be able to interact with Business End users

·       Must be able to Read/Write/Speak Thai and English languages fluently.
