Hugsy Cinema turns people’s real photos and videos into a Netflix-style cinematic experience – seasons, episodes, emotional storytelling, background music, and a private link to share with the people who matter most. We take raw memories (a relationship, a trip, a baby’s first year) and turn them into something that genuinely moves people.
We’re early-stage, building fast, and looking for a founding intern who wants to be in the room where product and growth decisions are made – not just executing tasks.
What You’ll Do
Research and reach out to creators, influencers, and micro-communities (couples pages, travel creators, parenting bloggers) for collabs and partnerships
Talk to real users to understand what excites them, confuses them, and what they wish existed
Think through activation and conversion – from someone discovering Cinema to placing an order to sharing it with others
Brainstorm and test viral loops – referral hooks, shareable moments, social-first content ideas
Help craft positioning, copy, and storytelling for Instagram, reels, and launch campaigns
Study competitors and trends in the gifting, memory, and creator economy space
Spot opportunities we’re missing and challenge assumptions when something feels off
Who This Is For

Naturally curious about consumer products – you notice what makes content go viral, why some brands feel premium, what makes people pay
Someone who understands Instagram and social media deeply – not just posting, but how engagement actually works, what hooks people, what makes a reel blow up, and how creators build audiences
