Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements (BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria)
- Conduct requirement workshops with business, operations, and client stakeholders
- Map end-to-end workflows for invoice financing, onboarding, approvals, disbursements, and reporting
- Define Maker–Checker / approval flows and role-based access controls
- Perform gap analysis between current and proposed system capabilities
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for engineering teams
- Create process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, and functional solution documents
- Work closely with QA teams to validate test scenarios and support UAT cycles
- Clarify requirements during sprint planning and development cycles
- Assist in impact analysis for change requests and new feature enhancements
- Ensure requirements incorporate compliance, auditability, and data validation needs
- Support go-live activities and post-release validation
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Invoice Financing platforms (most preferred), FinTech, Lending or Banking
- Strong understanding of financial workflows, invoice processing, financial dashboards and approval mechanisms
- Experience writing clear and structured user stories and functional documents
- Familiarity with audit trails, compliance requirements, and governance-driven systems
