Role Description:

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Vue JS Developer at Simform. As a Vue JS Developer, you will be responsible for developing user-friendly web interfaces and applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers and UI/UX designers. You will use your expertise in Vue JS and related frameworks to maintain, enhance, and develop user-facing products and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in front-end development
• Must have hands-on with Vue 3 and Typescript.
• 2+ experience with Vue JS and related frameworks like Nuxt.js.
• Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, experience in building responsive web applications and progressive web applications
• Experience with Vuex, Vuetify, Vuex-persist and Vuelidate would be a plus
• Understanding of state management using Vuex, Axios or any other JS library
• Understanding of TDD using frameworks like Jest or Jasmine
• Good understanding of templating languages like Pug or Handlebars
• Good understanding of Git, DevOps workflows, & CI and CD processes
• Ability to write clean, modular, reusable code & excellent analytical skills
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to identify the root issues quickly, anticipate & mitigate scaling issues.

Role and Responsibilities:

• The candidate must be keenly expert in JavaScript (ES6), React JS (Functional React- React with Hooks).
• Must be well aware of the JS concepts like promises, async-await, callback, fetch, and array methods like map, filter, reduce. 
• We are highly fetching for the candidates that are good with conditional rendering, and very much clear regarding the concepts of useEffect hook.
• Knowledge of GIT is a must.
• Knowledge and experience in any state management library such as redux or context is a plus.
• Must be familiar with JS libraries like Axios, and UI libraries like material-ui, core-ui, formik, etc.
• Must have a proper understanding of CSS properties like margin, padding, flex, position, z-index, media queries, and other important concepts like media queries, DOM manipulation.
• Must be aware of using dev tools provided in the browsers such inspect elements and network tab to track API calls.
• Basic API calling through postman or similar tools.
• Candidate worked on projects dealing with manipulation of dates, form validations, etc. are preferred.

As a Mid Level Front-End Developer, you will:

Create well-designed, documented, and tested front end solutions using modern JavaScript frameworks, such as React and Redux, CSS-in-JS, Styled Components, etc.

Collaborate with clients, project managers, UX designers, and other developers to gain a thorough understanding of project requirements within agreed-upon scope and architecture designs

Translate wireframes into fully functional user interfaces and proactively address edge case scenarios

Collaborate with back-end developers to design REST APIs and request/response schemas

Perform code reviews with constructive feedback

Promote clean code, best practices, and consistent design patterns across the team

Write infrastructure as code and automated deployment scripts for customer delivery

Provide development estimates from granular tasks to comprehensive projects/applications

Lead and present technical discussions to clients, including knowledge transfers
