Senior Software Engineer - Frontend

We are looking for a talented Frontend UI/UX Developer with expertise in Vue.js and Tailwind CSS to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building modern, responsive, and user-friendly web applications while ensuring a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain frontend applications using Vue.js (Vue 2 & Vue 3), Vuex/Pinia, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
2. Implement responsive UI components using Tailwind CSS and best UI/UX practices.

What You'll Do:

• You will collaborate with a UX/UI designer and other frontend and middle-tier engineers to design, prototype, and build complex cloud-based web applications.
• You will assist other developers with the integration of UI components with backend logic, interface implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Supporting the existing UI is a must, however, there will be plenty of opportunities to create solutions for advanced functionality while making improvements to existing areas of the application, as well as with new features.

What Makes You A Great Fit :

• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS frameworks, and JavaScript
• Must have an excellent understanding of the browser DOM.
• Firm grasp of lexical scoping, closures, and OO JavaScript.
• Proficient in native JavaScript as well as one or more frameworks/libraries such as jQuery, Ext JS, Backbone.js, ReactJS, Angular 6 and above, etc.
• Proficient with debugging and testing tools to troubleshoot and optimize the UI.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• A background in front-end web development and/or API development.
• Demonstrated competency in one or more of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, React/Redux, AngularJS,  or comparable JavaScript MVC framework.
• Demonstrated competency in one or more of the following client-side build tool: Webpack, gulp, jspm
• Have a good understanding of what good UX and UI design are.
• Experienced in client-side framework/technologies before such as: React, AngularJS, jQuery, HTML, CSS
• Experienced in using client-side build tools such as gulp, WebPack, JSPM, NodeJS, and other CLI is a plus
• Understand how to get good performance on UI implementation (time to interaction, bundling, and splitting resources)
• Some previous work portfolios would be great.
• Good knowledge of how to use source control systems like git and GitHub.

We are looking for a front end engineer with focus on UI/UX engineer with superb technical and aesthetic aptitude. The front end engineer will primarily be responsible for building and delivering custom solutions for our customers including the graphic design, experience design, and coding of the front ends. In this role, we expect you to gain an intimate understanding of your user and the value they’ll derive from the solution and develop user interfaces to deliver that value to the user in an ideal manner. The successful candidate will be curious, creative, ambitious, self motivated, flexible, and have a propensity for taking action.

Although your primary responsibilities will be around front-end work, we prize individuals who are willing to step in and contribute to other areas including automation, tooling, and management of applications.

Skills

Required Skills:

• 5+ years in architecting and building Single Page Applications (SPA)
• Shipped at least 2+ applications using Angular/AngularJs
• Expertise in building Angularjs and Angular with integration and unit tests
• Experience in upgrading angular/js versions and converting angularjs -> angular.
• Good working knowledge of other frameworks such as REACT, nodejs, meteor etc.
• Experience with package management tools such as webpack for minification, uglification etc
• Experience with creating embeddable widgets
• Expertise with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap4

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated expertise of building cloud native applications
• Familiarity with administration of CI/CD such as jenkins
