Architectural layout annotation and preparation

  1. Collect and organize architectural layout drawings. Gather CAD files and 2D drawings from available sources such as portfolios and available drawings datasets, categorize them based on the building type and format.
  2. Clean and preprocess layout images. Remove title blocks, legends, and non-layout elements. Enhance contrast and remove noise to create clean, training-ready images.
  3. Identify and fix layout quality issues. Document and correct problems such as missing walls or unclear boundaries, flag unfixable drawings for exclusion.
