We're executing India's flagship autonomous submarine project — the Jalkapi XLAUV — on order from the Indian Navy. This is an unmanned submarine weighing over 20 tons that can travel 5,000+ kilometers autonomously and operate in the ocean for 30+ days at a time.

The Role

Our spaces from the corporate office to labs and workshops are where ideas turn into breakthrough technologies. We're looking for a Facilities Manager who takes full ownership of creating and running these spaces efficiently across multiple locations. This is a high-impact operational role where you'll ensure our teams can focus on building world-class autonomous systems while you make the environment run seamlessly. You'll manage both corporate facilities and manufacturing/workshop spaces, coordinating with engineering teams to support production and testing needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Corporate & Multi-location Facilities: Run day-to-day operations for office and facility spaces with zero downtime mindset. Standardize processes across all offices and labs. Travel as needed to ensure consistent experience and quick problem-solving across Bangalore and other locations.

• Manufacturing & Workshop Operations: Oversee setup, maintenance, and compliance of manufacturing/workshop spaces. Ensure availability and readiness of utilities, equipment, and storage areas. Coordinate with engineering teams to support production/testing needs. Implement best practices for workplace safety in plant environments.

• Operations & Maintenance: Drive preventive and on-demand maintenance across infrastructure, utilities, and equipment. Keep housekeeping, pantry, and support services consistent, reliable, and startup-lean. Ensure calibration, AMC renewals, and compliance for facility equipment.

• Vendor & Partner Management: Build strong relationships with vendors and contractors; keep them accountable. Negotiate smartly to balance cost, speed, and quality. Manage renewals, service agreements, and vendor SLAs without delays. Oversee third-party vendors and contractors supporting workshop/plant operations.

• Safety & Compliance: Own workplace safety, security, and compliance across corporate and plant sites. Conduct safety checks, audits, and emergency drills. Ensure statutory compliance for manufacturing, fire safety, and environmental norms.

• Admin & People Experience: Enable efficient workspace planning and employee services. Partner with HR and IT for smooth onboarding, seating, and asset management. Be the go-to person for keeping the workplace productive and welcoming.

• Budgets & Reporting: Manage facility budgets smartly keep costs lean without cutting corners. Report on facility health, risks, and improvements with a startup lens. Track and optimize spend across multiple locations and facility types.

Required Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience managing corporate and/or manufacturing facilities, with demonstrated success in multi-location operations.

• Proven track record in handling both office environments and industrial/workshop facilities.

• Strong operational skills with the ability to adapt to startup pace and changing priorities.

• Knowledge of safety, compliance, and statutory requirements for offices and workshops including fire safety, environmental norms, and manufacturing regulations.

• Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and maintaining service level agreements.

• Budget management experience with ability to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.

• Problem-solver who thrives on ownership and can "just get it done" mentality.

• Good with numbers (budgeting) and great with people (collaboration).

• Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in robotics, hardware, manufacturing, or defense sectors—understanding of complex inventory management and long production cycles.

• Prior experience in startup environments (Series A-B stage preferred) with rapid scaling operations.

• Experience with ERP systems for facilities and maintenance management.

• Understanding of cleanroom operations, controlled environments, or specialized lab facilities.

• Track record of successfully setting up new facilities or expanding existing operations.

• Experience managing facilities across different cities with minimal supervision.

We are currently seeking a talented individual with an ITI/Diploma or Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Electrical and having strong technical and administrative skills.  In this role, you'll play a crucial part in the development process of our unmanned marine vessels, ensuring highest performance and reliability standards.

We are seeking a practical and detail-oriented Mechatronics Engineer with strong experience in CAD design, prototyping, and fabrication, along with working knowledge of electronics integration. The role is best suited for someone who enjoys building real systems—turning CAD models into working prototypes, selecting and integrating actuators and sensors, and ensuring that electromechanical assemblies can withstand the demanding conditions of the marine environment. You will work closely with both the mechanical and embedded systems teams to bring complex vessel subsystems from design to reality.

• Design and develop electromechanical subsystems and assemblies for unmanned surface and underwater vessels.
• Create CAD models and detailed fabrication drawings for precision parts and mechanisms.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer with 4-10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in using NX CAD or other 3D CAD tools to create detailed and precise designs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Modeling

Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs of components and systems using tools such as NX CAD- preferred or Solidworks,AutoCAD, or CATIA.

Develop and refine engineering drawings for manufacturing and assembly.

Ensure designs meet technical specifications, functional requirements, and industry standards.

2. Prototyping and Testing

Collaborate with the R&D team to develop and test prototypes.

Perform feasibility studies and stress analyses using simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS).

Identify and address design issues during testing and validation phases.

3. Process Optimization

Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for production.

Implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles in projects.

Continuously improve existing designs to enhance performance and cost efficiency.

4. Collaboration and Documentation

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.

Prepare technical documentation, including engineering reports, specifications, and design records.

As a Robotics Test Engineer, you will own critical parts of our verification and validation (V&V) process for autonomous surface and underwater vehicles. You’ll design test plans, build automated validation pipelines, participate in field trials, and analyze data to ensure our autonomy stack works flawlessly in the harsh and unpredictable marine environment.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll collaborate across robotics, embedded, and mechanical teams, and see your work validated directly on real vessels deployed in the water.

What You’ll Do

• Own the design and execution of system-level test plans for navigation, control, and perception subsystems.
• Develop hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) setups to validate autonomy algorithms before deployment.
• Design and automate test frameworks in ROS/ROS 2, Gazebo, and simulation environments.
• Plan and execute sea trials and field experiments to validate vessel behavior in real-world conditions.
• Collect, analyze, and visualize sensor and system data (LiDAR, sonar, IMU, GNSS, cameras) to identify bottlenecks and system failures.
• Collaborate with robotics, embedded, and mechanical engineers to troubleshoot integration issues.
• Document test procedures, results, and lessons learned; communicate findings through reports and presentations.

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in robotics, engineering, or related technical field.
• 1–3 years of experience in robotics testing, system validation, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or C++ for automation, debugging, and data analysis.

We are seeking a passionate and driven experienced Senior Robotics Engineer to lead the development and integration of autonomy systems in our next-generation marine robotics platforms. As part of our dynamic startup journey, this role demands deep technical expertise in robotics software and embedded systems, especially in areas like navigation, control, perception, and real-time systems. You will mentor a team of engineers and play a critical role in scaling up core autonomy stacks from simulation to real-world deployment.

This is a hands-on role that involves direct ownership of robotics subsystems and collaboration with cross-functional teams including hardware, embedded systems, and systems integration.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of autonomy modules (navigation, control, perception, SLAM, etc.).
• Own system-level integration with sensors, embedded systems, and marine vehicle control systems.
• Establish engineering best practices in ROS2-based development, simulation testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Define rigorous testing and validation strategies, developing simulation and field test setups to benchmark perception models against real-world scenarios.

Product Development

• Drive development of robust, scalable code for marine robotics platforms in C++ and Python.
• Guide simulator development to reflect accurate marine dynamics and sensor behavior (e.g., Gazebo, Unity Sim)
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across software and hardware interfaces in test benches and field trials

Team and Project Management

• Mentor and support junior engineers in robotics, controls, and perception development
• Collaborate with program managers to define and track milestones, technical deliverables, and field deployment plans
• Maintain clear documentation, communicate technical findings effectively, and present updates to internal teams, external partners, and research collaborators. 

Required Skills and Experience :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in robotics software development, preferably in field robotics or autonomous vehicles
• Proven track record of deploying robotics systems from lab to field
• Strong coding skills in C++ and Python
• Expertise in ROS2, Gazebo/Unity Sim, and Linux-based development
• Solid understanding of control theory, SLAM, sensor fusion, and kinematics
• Familiarity with marine dynamics and sensor integration (IMU, GPS, LIDAR, sonar, etc.)
