About the Role:
We are seeking a practical and detail-oriented Mechatronics Engineer with strong experience in CAD design, prototyping, and fabrication, along with working knowledge of electronics integration. The role is best suited for someone who enjoys building real systems—turning CAD models into working prototypes, selecting and integrating actuators and sensors, and ensuring that electromechanical assemblies can withstand the demanding conditions of the marine environment. You will work closely with both the mechanical and embedded systems teams to bring complex vessel subsystems from design to reality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electromechanical subsystems and assemblies for unmanned surface and underwater vessels.
- Create CAD models and detailed fabrication drawings for precision parts and mechanisms.

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer with 4-10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in using NX CAD or other 3D CAD tools to create detailed and precise designs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Modeling
Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs of components and systems using tools such as NX CAD- preferred or Solidworks,AutoCAD, or CATIA.
Develop and refine engineering drawings for manufacturing and assembly.
Ensure designs meet technical specifications, functional requirements, and industry standards.
2. Prototyping and Testing
Collaborate with the R&D team to develop and test prototypes.
Perform feasibility studies and stress analyses using simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS).
Identify and address design issues during testing and validation phases.
3. Process Optimization
Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for production.
Implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles in projects.

4. Collaboration and Documentation

About the Role :
As a Robotics Test Engineer, you will own critical parts of our verification and validation (V&V) process for autonomous surface and underwater vehicles. You’ll design test plans, build automated validation pipelines, participate in field trials, and analyze data to ensure our autonomy stack works flawlessly in the harsh and unpredictable marine environment.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll collaborate across robotics, embedded, and mechanical teams, and see your work validated directly on real vessels deployed in the water.
What You’ll Do
- Own the design and execution of system-level test plans for navigation, control, and perception subsystems.
- Develop hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) setups to validate autonomy algorithms before deployment.
- Design and automate test frameworks in ROS/ROS 2, Gazebo, and simulation environments.
- Plan and execute sea trials and field experiments to validate vessel behavior in real-world conditions.

Technical Leadership
