About you We are looking for our very first Data Scientist to join the team and contribute to the evolving Assembly product offering. You will be responsible for building state of the art ML models to improve product usage to our customers. You are passionate about company culture. Job Description We are looking for a data scientist that will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, and help us make smarter decisions to deliver even better products. Your primary focus will be applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high-quality prediction systems integrated with our products. Some early projects you will work on and not limited to: Build a system for automated fraud detection and analyze sentences to give value to our customers. Responsibilities Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques Data mining using state-of-the-art methods Extending the company’s data with third party sources of information when needed Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance Requirements Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests. Experience with common data science toolkits, such as Notebook, Sagemaker, Weka, NumPy, Scikit. Excellence in at least one of these is highly desirable Great communication skills Experience on state of the art models Roberta, GPT etc is a huge plus Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc. Data-oriented personality
In-depth knowledge in Core Python with Django building end to endapplications development. Experience in Web technologies-HTML, CSS, Javascript. Database - SQL Server/Postgres/ NoSQL database. Good understanding of Algorithms, data structures. Knowledge in ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries. Experience in integrating multiple data sources and databases into onesystem. Knowledge in REST / SOAP API Knowledge in version control tools like Git Experience with various cloud technologies.
