Job Responsibilities : 

• Develop and maintain scalable, robust backend systems using Python and Django framework. 
• Work closely with product managers and other cross functional teams to help define, scope and deliver world-class products and high quality features addressing key user needs. 
• Translate requirements into system architecture and implement code while considering performance issues of dealing with billions of rows of data and serving millions of API requests every hour. 
• Ability to take full ownership of the software development lifecycle from requirement to release. 
• Writing and maintaining clear technical documentation enabling other engineers to step in and deliver efficiently. 
• Embrace design and code reviews to deliver quality code. 
• Play a key role in taking Trendlyne to the next level as a world-class engineering team 
• Develop and iterate on best practices for the development team, ensuring adherence through code reviews. 
• As part of the core team, you will be working on cutting-edge technologies like AI products, online backtesting, data visualization, and machine learning. 
• Develop and maintain scalable, robust backend systems using Python and Django framework.
• Proficient understanding of the performance of web and mobile applications.

Job Requirements : 

• Ownership mindset: you build, ship, and improve 
• At least 1+ years of experience with Python and Django. 
• Good knowledge of APIs, databases, and system performance
• Strong understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL and Redis. - (Optional): Experience with web front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

1) Be open to learn new frameworks like Hapi.JS , Typescript , Nest.JS

2) Strong DB concepts , and hands on knowledge on MongoDB , REDIS

3) Experience working with micro-services will be a plus

4) Experience working with JWT and IAM systems will be a plus

5) Experience working with Postman , Swagger will be a plus

6) TDD knowledge is an advantage and also working with Unit Test code and familiar with test code coverage concepts.

7) Strong operating system knowledge is a plus with knowledge of how to manage threads.

8) Working experience with RabbitMQ , Kafka will be a plus

9) Strong knowledge of JS internals is a must.

10) Familiar with the Django REST API Framework.

Roles & Responsibilities

Writing and testing code, debugging programs and integrating applications with third-party web services. To be successful in this role, you should have experience using server-side logic and work well in a team.

Ultimately, you'll build highly responsive web applications that align with our business needs. Write effective, scalable code Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance Integrate user-facing elements into applications.

We are currently looking for a PHP Codeigniter Developer with 2+ years of experience.

About the role:

We’re looking for a hands-on Engineering Lead/Managing Architect for our API/Backend Development team. In this role, you’ll lead the effort to develop channels and APIs for our marketplace channels and scalable data pipelines, which process over 5 billion products a day.

In your first 6 months and beyond, you will:

• Learn the ins and outs of our platform, our codebase and our engineering processes
• Help build features for software that works with large data sets
• Play a key cross-functional role within our team of highly talented Javascript and PHP developers
• Develop solutions for high availability software
• Receive customer requests from the Product Team and develop solutions in the form of new features or products
• Debug and maintain APIs
• Work closely within the Platform team and with the API team to develop internal APIs and client-facing interfaces.

What you bring to the team:

• 2+ years of demonstrated Tech leadership experience.
• 7+ years of experience in PHP (good knowledge of Slim, Silex, or Symfony frameworks) and MySQL
• Some knowledge of integration architecture patterns such as scalable microservices, API gateways, API scalability
