Main Responsibilities:

Analysis & Design: Supporting the understanding of client requirements and contributing to the design of software solutions that meet real business needs.

Coding & Development: Writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code using industry best practices, contributing to new features and enhancements of existing solutions.

Troubleshooting: Identifying, analysing, and resolving technical issues and defects to ensure high-quality, reliable software.

Database Management: Assisting in the design, maintenance, and optimization of databases and queries to ensure efficient and secure data processing.

Testing: Helping to develop and execute test plans, including unit and integration testing, to ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.

Communication & Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams and client stakeholders, clearly communicating progress, challenges, and technical concepts.

Role Specification:

This is a midlevel role, well suited to individuals who want to work on client-facing projects.

3 years of professional experience in commercial software development

C# and/or VB.NET with .NET Framework and/or .NET.

Implementation of REST APIs

Database & Data

Write and optimize SQL queries and joins

Develop and maintain stored procedures

Participate in database design and data modeling

Perform performance tuning to improve application efficiency

Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance standards are met

DevOps & Engineering Tools

Use Git for version control and collaborative development

Work with Azure DevOps and CI tools for project tracking and builds

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines

Support release management activities

Manage and maintain multiple environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Production)

Testing & Quality

• Write and execute unit and integration tests
• Participate in test planning and test case creation
• Work with automation testing frameworks
• Log, track, and resolve defects using defect tracking tools
• Ensure application stability, reliability, and performance

Communication & Collaboration

• Direct end-user support and helpdesk operations
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Compliance Officer

Main Responsibilities:

Working in a Compliance role within a regulated environment.

ISO 14001/ESOS & Environmental

·      To support the team through the collation of evidence in line with our ISO 14001 and ESOS reporting requirements.

·      To conduct periodic reviews of EMS documentation.

·      To coordinate internal audits related to EMS.

·      To assist in creation of the monthly paper figures report.

Audit/Risk Management

·      To coordinate and assist in conducting internal and external (third party) audits and report on any findings to the senior management.

·      To help maintain the information security and EMS risk register.

Supplier Management

·      To coordinate and triage the Supplier On boarding requests and escalate to Senior Compliance Officers.

·      To assist in the ongoing management of Suppliers.

Policy Framework

·      To manage the ongoing maintenance of the policy framework.

·      To coordinate the review and update of policies through liaison with policy owners across the Group.

·      To review policies owned by Compliance and where required draft changes.

·      To review the effectiveness of policies and procedures associated with policies owned by Compliance. 

Misc.

·      To assist in the governance of the internal SOX framework.

·      To support the Group in the management of ad-hoc compliance requirements (e.g. Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Modern Slavery, Vulnerable Individuals etc.).

Data Protection/ISO 27001

·      To support in the work required for maintaining the Group’s ongoing ISO 27001:2022 certification.

·      To provide support to the Group in managing its obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

·      To complete regular policy reviews and update the information security management system documentation (ISMS)

·      To assist the team in preparing for management review meetings.

·      To assist in reviewing privacy impact assessments and advise the Group on potential risks.

·      To coordinate the review of process registers across the Group.

Job Title: Unit4 Technical Consultant

Location : Remote

Skills Required

Responsibilities & Skills Required:

• Configure, customize, and support Unit4 ERP (Agresso/Business World) modules.
• Develop interfaces, integrations, workflows, and reports using Excelerator, ARC, and Report Engine.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, XML, APIs, and web services for technical development.
• Perform data migration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Unit4 ERP systems.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements ensuring security and data integrity.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with client-facing experience.

Proven experience as a Unit4 ERP Functional Consultant or similar role.

Hands-on expertise in at least one major Unit4 module:

• Finance (GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, Budgeting)
• HR & Payroll

Strong understanding of business processes in service-oriented industries (e.g., education, public sector, nonprofits, professional services).

Knowledge of reporting tools (Excelerator, Qlik, UBW Reports, etc.).

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

● Proven experience in training, evaluating and deploying machine learning models

Duties And responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & Analysis

·      Work with clients to understand their business processes, goals, and pain points.

·      Conduct workshops to gather functional and technical requirements.

·      Map business requirements to Business Central functionalities.

Solution Design & Customisation

·      Design workflows, processes, and solutions within Business Central to meet client needs.

·      Configure Business Central modules (e.g., logistics, inventory, manufacturing/production).

·      Recommend and design customisations or integrations with third-party tools where needed.

Implementation & Deployment

·      Set up and deploy Business Central in client environments.

·      Migrate data from legacy systems to Business Central.

·      Test configurations and customisations to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.

Training & User Support

·      Provide training to end-users and stakeholders to ensure they are comfortable using the system.

·      Develop documentation and user manuals for reference.

·      Offer post-implementation support and resolve any issues that arise.

Continuous Improvement

·      Identify opportunities for process improvement using Business Central features.

Required Experience

·      3-8 years’ experience as a MS Business Central Consultant.

·      Ideally full project lifecycle experience as listed in Responsibilities.

·      Business Central Qualification.

·      Understanding of financial and accounting processes – an accounting/finance background will be beneficial.

·      Ideally industry experience in Production/Manufacturing/Logistics.

·      Ability to understand solution architecture of digital transformation projects.

·      Awareness / Experience of other functional areas beneficial.
