Corridor Platforms Inc., with offices in NJ, USA and Bangalore, India is looking to expand its technology team in India. The company is developing a fully automated Credit Risk management platform that leverages big data technologies, data science, and the latest front-end technologies. The product features prospecting, underwriting, loan selection, portfolio management and many other risk solutions. This risk management platform is primarily targeted for use by investors/mid-tier and large-tier banks in funding consumer/institutional loans (helps manage risk and grow revenue). It comes with excellent UX and developed with latest technologies. New hires would experience and interact with leading experts in Credit Risk, Data science (ML/AI), Big Data and front-end full stack.
We are looking for creative and talented individuals to join a highly motivated team to conceptualize, build and deploy risk decision platforms for consumer lending in a Big Data environment. An ideal candidate must have experience managing and contributing to design and development of middleware technologies and integrate with Big Data Technologies, Machine Learning tools, backend capabilities and UI. The candidate must possess the aptitude to understand business requirements from senior executives and convert them to user stories/tasks to be implemented and communicate effectively. The individual must be action-oriented self-starter, process driven, maintain alignment with the team, abide by the company’s culture and follow industry-wide best practices.

Responsibilities
- Take full ownership for creation and ongoing maintenance of the End User Manual for Corridor Platforms software.
- The content writer will need to work closely with the Head of Products and developers to document the functional use of platform capabilities from an end user perspective. Updates to the End User Manual are done at every major product release.
- On an ongoing basis, it will be the responsibility of the content writer to keep the End User Manual in-sync with platform capabilities as it evolves across releases.
- As a secondary responsibility based on bandwidth, the content writer will also help in development of professional marketing materials, social media content (blogs, website content as example) and support online branding of the firm.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 yrs experience in content development
- Proven record of best-in-class writing skills demonstrated in a professional portfolio with impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in style and expressions of writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to work collaborate with multiple stakeholders across tech, product managers and data scientists.
- Strong ability to structure concepts and articulate them in well designed and logically flowing blocks of documentation which includes text, images and videos (as necessary).
- Strict adherence to the style guides of Corridor Platforms and their policies for publication.
- Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
- Proficiency with computers, reasonable familiarity with Markdown text and development environments like Visual Studio as well as desktop publishing tools. Familiarity with using Google G suite and Microsoft Office 365 Solution suite would also be highly preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or technical writing would be preferred but not necessary

- Develop web-based application for analytics using Angular
- Integrate and extend Python REST APIs and create visually stunning UI experiences for analysts and users.
- Create flexible dashboards and reports (using plotly, d3, etc) and leverage open source technology to create various components.
- Create a flexible UI for data analytics and big data usecases which can be used by Large Tier banks as well as smallscale agile startups
- Write unit tests and functional tests for the component using tools like Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, etc.
- Follow software development practices with continuous testing, development and integration (CD/CI)
- Write and maintain technical design documents and new-feature documents
- Collaborate closely with developers, engineers, testers, and product managers
- Participate in peer-based code reviews and design reviews
- Follow agile methodology and encourage collaboration with tools such as GIT, Confluence and Slack applications
- Undergraduate degree or above in computer science preferred
Required Qualifications
- Knows SPA and frontend technologies well
- Has used atleast 1 web framework: Angular / React / Vue / etc. and comfortable with Javascript/Typescript.
- Experience with styling (CSS / SCSS / others) frameworks like bootstrap, material, foundation, tailwind, etc. is a plus
- Knowledge on visualization frameworks like D3, plotly, highcharts, chart.js, etc. to make customizable dashboards.
- Has used testing libraries like karma, jest, jasmine, cypress, selenium, etc.
- Familiar with with frontend processes like State management (Redux), Reactive programming (rxjs), Authentication methods (JWT, SAML) etc.
- Basic knowledge about APIs (flask, django, nodejs) and worked on deploying web applications (nginx or apache or cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, docker, etc.) will be beneficial.

- Develop web APIs with the Flask web framework
- Use RDBMS databases with ORM layers (sqlalchemy) and develop service-level logic for the application
- Manage asynchronous jobs, graph algorithms, pipeline creation, reporting logic for analytical applications
- Write unit tests and functional tests for the APIs
- Follow software development practices with continuous testing, development and integration (CD/CI)
- Write and maintain technical design documents and new-feature documents
- Collaborate closely with developers, engineers, testers, and product managers
- Participate in peer-based code reviews and design reviews
- Follow agile methodology and encourage collaboration with tools such as GIT, Confluence and Slack applications

- Basic knowledge about basics in asynchronous task management (celery, airflow, etc.), Security (CSP, CORS, etc.) and algorithm computation (graph theory, compiler theory, etc.)
