Position: IT Manager
Location: Pune
Experience Required: : 4–6 Years.
Qualification: Graduate
Escalating IT issues to the IT manager where necessary
Responsible for managing backups / tape rotation
Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
Undertaking small- to medium-sized IT projects as instructed by the IT manager /Authorities
Providing desktop and server support
Supporting and maintaining MS Server Active directory /Desktops and Postmaster
Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops
Installing authorized software to laptops and desktops ( range lab,Rista, Tally server & client ,AV)
Ensuring security and upgrades are applied to desktops and laptops and kept up to date
Antivirus installation to all desktops and laptops
Fault finding to laptops and desktops
Reporting faults and maintaining logs on servers, desktops and laptops
Completing internal user moves including phones
Patching of network and phones
Making of Cat 6 e network cables were necessary
Ensuring all logs for equipment and users are maintained
Setting up and configuring new core servers
Installing authorized software to core servers
Ensuring patches and upgrades are applied to core servers
Fault finding to core servers
Creating purchase requisitions for IT hardware / software
Ensuring licensing for all software purchased is recorded and maintained
Postmaster server mailbox maintenance including archiving mailboxes
Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts in accordance with HR requirements
Providing support for MAC PCs
Job description
- Responsible for Installation and Troubleshooting Operating System, Laptops, Desktops, Printer, Networking Device, Internet, Remote Desktop and all types of applications, drivers, and necessary updates.
- Responsible for Installation, Maintenance & Troubleshooting of Desktops, Laptop, and their operating system.
- Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 operating system environments
- Use all means possible to assist users including by phone, via email, in-person, MS Teams or using remote support tools.
- Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.
- Knowledge of office 365, MS team, One Drive and SharePoint and anti-virus programs
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking L1, etc.
- Manage and maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
Desired Skills and Experience -
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems.
- Strong diagnostic/ troubleshooting skills, must have an innate curiosity and interest in IT
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack, and Wi-Fi.
- Working knowledge of supporting pcs in a domain environment.
- Working knowledge of Office 365 cloud application suite
- Working knowledge of desktop imaging, application deployment, and hard drive encryption
