Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team, working remotely from India. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between our design teams and development teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business analysis, with a knack for creating detailed documentation and diagrams that clarify complex processes and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Documentation & Analysis: Develop comprehensive documentation, including requirements specifications, process flows, and functional specifications, to support project objectives and deliverables.

- Collaboration & Communication**: Act as a liaison between design teams, development teams, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals and requirements.

- Project Support: Assist project managers in planning and monitoring project progress. Identify potential issues and risks, proposing effective solutions to ensure project success.

- Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and methodologies used in design and development workflows.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with clients and internal teams to gather and analyze needs, translating business objectives into actionable project requirements.

- Visual Representation: Create diagrams and visual representations that effectively illustrate system functionalities, user flows, and data models to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, particularly in technology or digital product development environments.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on complex projects.

- Excellent documentation skills, with experience in creating clear and comprehensive reports, diagrams, and specifications.

- Proficient in tools such as Microsoft Office, Visio, and any relevant BA tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with proficiency in English.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.

We are looking for a candidate with 2-5 years of experience in Business Analysis and IT project coordination with documentation in IT (Web development/application development / mobile apps development) along with international client handling experience..

Job Responsibilities:
Discussion with customer/project team to understand the requirements
Creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional and business specifications (BRD / SRS Preparation)
Requirement walk-through and getting requirement sign-off from the customer
Analyzing the requirements of the clients and converting them into technical documents as per the specifications
Creating wireframes to determine the flow and functionalities of the application
Facilitating the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders
Creating Proposals and other relevant documents
Creating Slide Decks required for explaining Business Solutions & Approach
Explaining the requirements to technical teams and taking the estimates for the same
Understanding the Adhoc changes and analysis on the impact and creating spec documents
Supporting testing in creating test cases and review of test cases
Allocating tasks to resources as per the milestones of the project
Coordination with the delivery team to deliver the project on or before the estimated deadline
Creating Release documents and UAT Testing of the release
Communicating with clients throughout the life cycle of a project to update them with the progress and path ahead from time to time

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• BA Workstream: Ability to understand the objectives and goals of the project, and to contribute to the development of the project plan through identifying BA scope of work, advocating approach, and methodologies.
• Create BA Work Packages: Ability to breakdown the BA Scope of Work into manageable work packages to support the overall delivery of the plan.
• Scope and document requirements: Ability to understand, capture, and model functional, non-functional (operational), and interface requirements for users of a system.
• Designing and enhancing Business Processes: Ability to create maps (or models) of workflows, services design, and customer journeys for the business, organization, system, or software. Process maps are created by eliciting new requirements as well as identifying existing functionalities and processes in an organization. Documenting behavior models using use cases, user experience design, storyboards, user profiles, and user stories.
• Analysis & estimation of solution options: Ability to undertake quality initiatives and measure them with the right metrics. Be able to develop meaningful key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Training &Communications: Work with learning and comms team to provide inputs on new functionality, enhancements, process changes, etc. to drive adoption
• Digital Capability: Having had experience in, or capability to, enable customer experiences through the use of digital technologies through placing the customer at the center of everything we do.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related fields
• Minimum 4+ years of work experience as a BA required in Software development projects
• Industry certification in Business Analysis like CBAP, Agile business analysis, etc.
• Prior experience or a background in software development.
• High attention to detail and work ethics which encourages accuracy
• Involvement in digital transformation or multi-system integration project
• Strong written and oral communication skills with IELTS ( or any other equivalent English proficiency score of 7 or above)
• High level of computer user ability, including Ms Word, Ms Visio, Ms Excel, Ms Power Point, Outlook
• Agile qualification and experience
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Desired Candidate Profile

This role requires you to work and collaborate with the customers, product & Engineering teams to meet and fit customer to our product. This role will be responsible for building technical project plans for Compass as well as tracking and driving the delivery of those projects. • Good exposure to SAAS product.
