Role & Responsibilities

The Inverters Business Head, Odisha will lead and scale Direct-to-Customer (D2C) operations. This role involves overseeing branch-level P&L, managing high-performing teams, and capitalizing on strategic opportunities such as the PM Surya Ghar Yojana.

What you will be expected to do:

• Lead and manage all D2C grid-tied inverter branches within Odisha, starting from the flagship branch in Balangir.
• Manage and mentor a team of Area Business Managers (ABMs), Associate Regional Managers (ARMs), Process Associate and commission-based agents (EOs).
• Establish and optimize processes for customer prospecting, sales conversion, installations and after-sales service.
• Oversee the entire customer lifecycle, from initial inquiry to installation and support.
• Drive business growth, profitability, and market share expansion in the region.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and enhance brand visibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless execution.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Cultivate strong relationships with DISCOMs, government agencies, and channel partners.
• Ensure operational excellence in all aspects of the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, including subsidy frameworks.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong State / Regional Sales Leadership Profile (D2C, preferable Solar /Energy sector)
• 8+ years of experience in business development, with strong D2C exposure
• Must have experience managing multi-branch or district-level operations with ownership of revenue growth and execution
• At least 2 years of experience in D2C sales industry
• Must have exposure to branch-level revenue ownership, P&L and market expansion responsibilities
• Understanding of PM Surya Ghar Yojana, subsidy mechanisms, and DISCOM regulations
• Fluency in Odiya is mandatory
• Candidate must be comfortable operating from Balangir, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, or anywhere in Western Odisha
• D2C product companies (Solar/Energy sector preferred)
• This role will be an equal mix of IC and team management responsibilities
• People management experience, leading Area Managers, Sales teams or field agents with demonstrated team scaling
• Understanding of solar rooftop, inverter ecosystem, including installation lifecycle and customer conversion funnel
• Preferred (Education): Engineering background preferred; MBA is a plus
• Preferred (Market Exposure): Prior experience working in Odisha solar market will be a strong advantage

Qualification: Bachelor's / Master's in English, Marketing, Computer Science, or Business

Experience :1 year+ (in SEO Sales)

Salary: 2LPA-5LPA

Skills required:

1.Excellent verbal and written communication skills (American English)

3.First-hand experience selling digital marketing/SEO packages to clients in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

4.Must be able to create pipelines and prospects for new digital marketing (SEO, SMO, Google Ads, and branding) projects.

5.Must be able to draft proposals and presentations for potential clients

6.Knowledge of digital marketing/SEO tools, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite

7.Must be able to analyze a website and prepare a Website Audit Report

• Work with product owners, architects, developers, testers, and other stakeholders in the client's organization and in the company to build and maintain software solutions
• Get specifications/wireframes/ mock-ups and translate them into scalable, high-performance, robust web apps!
• Responsible to write and maintain clean, well-written code, as per the best practices.
• Very comfortable with daily stand-up with clients, update daily work progress via Project Management systems, voice/video calls, online collaboration using screen-sharing tools.
• Exposure/experience in agile development practices

Desired Qualification, Skills, and Experience

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech.

Mandatory Skills:

• Expert level skills in OOPS concepts
• Excellent in Ruby, metaprogramming.
• Excellent knowledge of Rails 4.x+
• Experience in using Rails Engine.
• Full-stack web development expertise (HTML, Javascript, CSS/Less, React, Redux)
• Good experience with active accounts on Git, Github/Bitbucket, or similar SCM tools.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills [Client side, Server side, Database]
• Knowledge and skills in static code analysis and performance management tools [Client side, Server side, Database]
• Databases: Expert level skills in one or more of MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Exposure to Release, Build Management, Deployment steps, and methodologies.

Nice to have Skills:

• MongoDB, Redis, Memcached, RSpec, Enzyme, Jest
• Experience:2-4 year

Responsibilities and Duties

1.Create, categorize and refine keyword lists to create a comprehensive campaign that drives qualified visitors to our site

1. Perform management of PPC accounts on Google AdWords, Yahoo, Bing, and other search platforms for a variety of clients.
2. Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of keyword bids, budget caps, and other important account metrics.
3. Create online banner adverts and oversee pay per click (PPC) ad management
4. Track and analyze website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports
5. Manage and maintain updates for keyword lists.
6. Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting,

 display network, and other facets of paid search in accordance with client goals.

1. Familiarity with Google Adwords reporting interface

Job Requirements:

• Experience in Search Engine Optimizations (SEO) Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Paid Search (PPC).
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Experience working with AdWords and Bing Ads
• AdWords certification required
• Ads 360 experience (previously Double-click Search)
• BS/BA degree preferred
• Agency experience preferred
• High proficiency with Google Analytics, Bing Analytics, and other website analytics software
