Role Description The Area Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hawai, responsible for driving sales growth and market expansion for TechTezas Ecosoft’s digital and secure data management solutions. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing relationships with existing clients, and achieving area sales targets. The Area Sales Manager will conduct regular client meetings and presentations, understand customer requirements, and collaborate with technical and delivery teams to propose suitable solutions. Daily activities include planning territory strategies, monitoring sales performance, preparing sales reports and forecasts, and ensuring timely follow-up on leads and proposals. The role also requires participation in industry events and local networking to strengthen the company’s presence in the region.

Qualifications

• Strong sales, business development, and account management skills, with experience in IT services or technology solutions.
• Ability to understand and explain secure data management, digital transformation, and compliance-focused solutions to clients.
• Proficiency in territory planning, pipeline management, and use of CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, IT, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• Prior experience as an Area Sales Manager or in a similar field sales role, preferably within IT services or consulting.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned area and work on-site with clients and internal teams as required.

What You’ll Do:

● Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers, providing technical direction, guidance, and

performance feedback

● Architect, design, and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Golang

● Own SQL database design, optimization, indexing, and performance tuning to ensure data integrity

and efficiency

● Work closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and Analytics teams to translate business requirements

into robust technical solutions

● Drive best practices in system design, code quality, security, and reliability

● Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across development, staging, and production

environments

● Oversee CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth, reliable deployments

● Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain high engineering standards

● Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and high-quality releases

● Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing

improvements where applicable

● Foster a collaborative, innovative, and growth-oriented engineering culture

What You’ll Need

● 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Golang

development

● Proven experience leading or managing engineering teams

● Strong expertise in SQL databases (schema design, query optimization, indexing, performance

tuning)

● Hands-on experience with Columnar OLAP databases (Druid, ClickHouse, or similar)

● Hands-on experience with OLTP databases (ScyllaDB, Redis, or similar)

● Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems

● Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

● Strong proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows

● Deep understanding of concurrency, performance optimization, and memory management in

Golang

Nice to Have:

● Experience with NoSQL databases and data modeling

● Exposure to messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar

● Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)

● Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

• Developing models and business logic (e. g. transactions, payments, diet plan, search, etc).
• Architecting servers and services that enable new product features.
• Building out newly enabled product features.

Skills:

• Minimum 4 years of industry or open-source experience.
• Proficient in at least one OO language: Python(preferred)/Golang/Java.
• Writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code.
• Good knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
• Experience working with AWS components [EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, ECS, Lambda]

Required Skills
