What you will do:

• Work as part of cross-functional agile team to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from the requirements stage through to delivery.
• Promote a ‘shift-left’ approach to testing, ensuring tests are identified, prepared, and executed as early as possible in the lifecycle.
• Represent the interest of the customer and the experience of the end user during the delivery process.
• Develop and evolve test frameworks using best-in-class tools and technologies.
• Support testing at different levels of the test pyramid – i.e., unit, integration, service, contract, end-to-end testing.
• Write and review test code to ensure high standards in terms of test coverage, as well as resilience, maintainability, and performance of the test automation suite
• Perform manual testing – functional, exploratory, localization – when needed.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives etc).
• Use appropriate metrics/KPIs to validate and report on software quality.
• Proactively bring issues and problems to the attention of the team to ensure timely and appropriate actions are taken.
• Apply risk assessment methods to identify quality risks and impact and, where possible, take appropriate mitigating measures.
• Participate in test plan/strategy review and process review and help drive continuous improvement.
• Log defects in a clear and understandable manner, and work with the Product team to triage and prioritize defects for resolution.
• Collaborate with developers in problem spaces to pair-test functionalities and debug issue

What you need for this:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance.
• Coding proficiency in one or more programming languages (JavaScript/TypeScript – preferable, Java – in case if the candidate has experience with JS). Hands-on experience applying design patterns and test automation patterns to the codebase.
• Experience in both manual testing and automation of different mobile app journeys on both iOS and Android.
• Experience in defining test strategy, test plan and test cases.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as WebdriverIO or Cypress.
• Hands-on experience working with mobile test automation tools e.g., Appium, Calabash, Espresso; IDEs such as XCode, Android Studio, VS-Code; and network monitoring tools such as Charles Proxy, Fiddler or similar.
• Practical experience testing Webservices/RESTful APIs with tools such as RESTAssured or Postman, and testing Microservices with tools such as PACT (contract testing).
• Experience with iterative Lean/Agile methodologies e.g., Scrum or Kanban.
• Prior experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, Bitrise etc.
• Knowledge of version control with GIT and a good understanding of branching and merging concepts.
• Good understanding of approaches such as BDD, TDD, ATDD and how it can be applied to test both backend services and frontend.
• Experience of both functional and non-functional testing – security, performance, accessibility etc – aspects of testing.
• Experience diagnosing, reporting, tracking, and resolving defects and issues using tool, such as JIRA, Trello etc.
• Practical experience with public Cloud infrastructures such as AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud testing platforms such as BrowserStack, AWS Device Farm, Saucelab etc.
• Qualifications- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related qualification

JD - API + Mobile testing (IOS)

• Strong experience in Manual Testing of Enterprise Class and Financial application and web portals.
• Expert in UI testing on multiple platforms and browsers, and API testing using Postman.
• Experience in UI Automation using tools like Selenium web driver and API Automation using Rest Assured framework with Java.
• Good Experience in Mobile App testing on iOS platform.
• Good to have exposure to Automation testing of mobile apps via Appium Exposure and know-how of performance testing and security testing
• tools.
• Good experience in understanding the requirements, deriving the goals and taking ownership of tasks.
• Knowledge of AWS / Cloud would be a plus.

• Should be able to write use cases based on product requirements, execute them and report issues in bug tracking system.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of QA requirements and provide testing guidance to the technology team Lead and coordinate the application enhancement

• Understand complex nature of the application and come up with the test plan

• Manage and communicate regular updates on project status (e.g., work completed, work in progress, next steps, risks, quality, KPIs, and
• costs) to stakeholders, peers, Product managers, QA Manager, and others.

Qualifications:

• Very good hands-on and good knowledge of backend testing procedures, API testing and UI Testing.
• Exposure to test management and bug tracking tool (like ALM, Testrail, X-Ray, JIRA or others), Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge regarding financial services, and workflows, payment gateways, e-wallets etc

- 3-4 years of experience in Mobile Automation using Appium.

Requirements :

- Must have strong knowledge of the programming language (Java).

- Strong knowledge of java collections

- Must have string knowledge in oops concept;

- Experience of Appium is Must

- Familiarity with JIRA, GIT, and databases.

What You’ll Do

• Manual and automated testing of the various software components that power our robots, cloud services, and mobile and Web applications.

• “Own” the feature or product you test and be the testing expert for your features and products.

• Gather technical requirements, understand functional specification, participate in software design reviews, and validate that a feature or product meets our customers’ requirements.

• Write test plans, execute test cases, and report bugs.
• Your bug reports should describe, in detail, the conditions under which a bug manifests and how it can be reproduced, the resulting product behavior, and the extent of the bug’s impact on our customers.

• Automate software testing to the extent possible to make it more efficient.

• Reproduce and debug customer issues escalated from the field.


What We’re Looking For 

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in CS/CE/IT/EE/E&TC or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software testing, particularly in Web, mobile, cloud, and embedded systems applications.
• Experience in writing software test plans, executing test cases, and managing the end-to-end bug life cycle.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Java and Python programming skills.
• Familiarity with Android and iOS mobile app testing automation using Appium, and Android and iOS emulators.
• Ability to work well in a team, including remote team members in overseas locations.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with tools such as Eclipse (IDE), TestNG, Maven, Selenium, and JIRA.

• Required Educational Qualifications: Minimum B.E/B.Tech with 60% in academics.
