You’ll spend time on the following:
● You will proactively seek out ways to avoid common software-testing problems such as test case duplication,
flaky tests, and maintainability
● You will pair including but not limited to devs, business analysts, engineering managers and operations to
identify gaps & improve team efficiencies
● Strive for quality to be baked-in and aspire to shift quality to the left
● Extend your passion for quality assurance practices to enable the engineering teams & coaches to adopt a
testing mindset.
● Spike, Compare and choose the right tools and eco-system for scalable and fast test automation
● Drive the creation of reliable automated testing frameworks with strong reporting capabilities that ensures
simple, effective analysis of failures for your team to use
● Capture metrics to measure the quality and make decisions that improve quality
The outcomes of this role include:
● The team is able to get faster feedback for changes and express confidence in safety-net
● The team is able to measure and gain insights into improvements to the product quality
● Team expresses increased confidence and trust in test assets
You’ll also spend time on the following:
● Storytelling and socializing the tech and engineering success stories across TestVagrant
● Take initiative and participate in others, that move organization forward, aligning with tech and engineering first culture
● Mentor the SDETs to grow in the direction of Sr. SDETs
● To achieve the above, most of the following experience is a must:
● You have worked as a Quality Analyst as part of a distributed engineering team, pairing with Devs, Business Analysts, and Infra teams
● You have championed the quality domain and are proficient in functional, non-functional, and exploratory testing techniques
● You have championed the testing domain and applied wisdom to prevent common mistakes
● You have collaborated with business and engineering teams to arrive at non-functional requirement
● You have contributed to various layers of the test pyramid
● You have designed, developed, and evolved scalable test automation frameworks from scratch
● You have proficiency in automation tools and techniques, including but not limited to Web, Mobile, and APIs
● You have the ability to pick up new tech stack and contribute to developing test assets
● You have worked with code coverage tools, linting, and static code analysers

●3 to 6 years of experience in Testing software applications
●Thorough Understanding of - Test life cycle & Defect life cycle
●Ability to understand requirements thoroughly, design, develop, execute tests and ensure test coverage
●Strong command in any one of the programming languages
●Experience with any of 2 Open Source testing tools like Selenium , RestAssured, Appium.
●Ability to understand the test automation framework concepts, Contribute to the development of automation frameworks and authoring automated tests
●Ability to quickly learn new technologies in a dynamic environment
●Understanding of GIT or equivalent
Mandatory Requirements:
●Bachelors and/or master’s in computer science or equivalent
●Excellent computer fundamentals, analytical and problem-solving skills

Requirements:
- Experience in Testing (manual and automation) of business software applications
- Exposure to Consulting Practices, Assessment, and Recommendations, Test Plan, Progress measurement, etc
- Expertise with Open Source testing tools and Enterprise tools
- Strong exposure to Java /.Net development environment
- Knowledge of Scripting Languages, like JavaScript, Python, Ruby, etc
- Great Object Oriented coding practices, including strong design patterns knowledge, Refactoring, Clean Code, Domain Driven Design, Encapsulation, etc.
- Extensive hands-on experience in creating test frameworks and strategy
- Exposure to version management tools like SVN or GIT
- Familiarity with automated deployment processes (CI & CD)

Color Neon is a French brand that designs and manufactures custom LED neon signs. A customer sends us their text, logo or artwork and we turn it into a made-to-measure sign: they choose the font, colour and size, preview it in 3D, and see it on their own wall before they order.
We sell direct across France and Europe from colorneon.com. More than 10,000 homes, bars, restaurants, shops and event planners have bought from us. Every sign is handcrafted, energy-efficient LED neon with a 2-year warranty.
The business runs on Shopify. We built our own 3D neon configurator so customers can design their sign in the browser, and we work AI-first: the team uses Claude and Codex every day to build, test and ship.
We are now opening our first engineering seat in India, in Indore. Until now every technical decision has been made remotely from France. That changes with this hire: one engineer, sitting with the founder, owning the Shopify apps, the storefront rebuild and the configurator. One product, long term, with real ownership.
