About the Role:
We're seeking a passionate and experienced QA Automation Lead to join our dynamic team. You'll be responsible for leading the charge in developing and executing comprehensive test automation strategies for our product functionalities. From collaborating with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria to building and optimizing test frameworks, you'll wear many hats and play a pivotal role in ensuring software quality.
What You'll Do:
- Lead a team of 5+ QA professionals in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Translate requirements and test designs into clear and concise test suites covering UI, API, and performance aspects.
- Design and implement robust test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define acceptance criteria, prioritize test cases, and ensure timely delivery of quality products.
- Proactively review application performance, recommend performance testing strategies, and execute performance tests as needed.
- Participate in the SDLC process, contributing to test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing trends and best practices, proactively suggesting improvements and implementing them.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of building and executing automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Expert in Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of modern web technology testing techniques (e.g., REST APIs, web services).
- Experience writing and maintaining automated tests using Python.
- Ability to write SQL queries and retrieve data from databases.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Passionate about quality assurance and its role in delivering exceptional products.
- Creative, independent, self-motivated, and adaptable to learning new technologies.
Bonus Points:
- Experience in building test frameworks for cloud-based products (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with the insurance industry is a plus.
