Position - Senior Business Analyst

Experience Required: 8+ Years


Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in the Funds domain (Asset Management / Fund Accounting / Private Equity / Hedge Funds). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across the investment lifecycle, NAV calculation, and fund operations, and will work closely with stakeholders, product teams, and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions for fund accounting and investment management platforms. This role requires a strong blend of domain knowledge, business analysis skills, and system implementation experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements related to fund accounting and investment operations
  • Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, and technology teams
  • Translate business requirements into BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and data mapping documents
  • Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and support solution design for fund platforms
  • Work across the end-to-end investment lifecycle: trade capture → settlement → reconciliation → NAV → reporting
  • Participate in UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and stakeholder sign-offs
  • Support system implementations, upgrades, or migrations (e.g., fund accounting platforms)
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and control enhancements in fund operations
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting requirements
  • Communicate effectively with global stakeholders and clients

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Asset Management / Fund Accounting / Capital Markets domain
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Fund Accounting & NAV calculation
  • Hedge Funds / Mutual Funds / Private Equity structures
  • Trade lifecycle and investment operations
  • Hands-on experience in:
  • Requirement gathering, BRD / FSD documentation
  • UAT coordination and stakeholder management
