About: X Billion Skills Lab has on one hand met 100+ employers to understand the applications of such 21st century skills at the Indian workplace across sectors & roles. And on the other, we are continuously deconstructing the mind of an average Indian learner to understanding gaps and preferences to enable effective inception as well as absorption. We are building an intelligent e-learning eco system that 1. Curates youth who display the latent cognitive abilities & attitudes to learn & apply the skills as required by India's growing Start up landscape 2. Incepts 21st century skills through relatable content & formats 3. Enhances neuro-plasticity and self learning 4. Captures behavioral and absorption data during the candidate's 100 day deep learning experience based on his/her actions, reactions, navigation and responses(to stimuli like challenges & nudges) 5. At the other end, based on the above, the system will provide employers (start ups and SMEs) 'dynamic learner profiles' about their future employee's abilities, attitudes aptitudes & approach to work Why: 1. Unemployability is a looming socio-economic and humanitarian crisis for India. 2. Youth need affordable access to new age skills that lead to meaningful jobs & upward trajectories. It is necessary to have an incremental income and be future ready for them to enjoy a quality life in an environment of rising living costs & enhanced competition 3. Start ups & SMEs are also the backbones of our economy. If not provided with access to talent ready with 21st century skills, it will be difficult to pursue a high growth agenda. This will also compound in their inability to deliver returns to investors or pay back loans. - The dynamic learner profiles also enables such enterprises to make cognitive & behavioral data driven hiring decisions so as to avoid the time & opportunity cost of inadequately skilled candidates 4.
