Business Analyst

Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Full Stack Developer with strong backend expertise in PHP (Laravel/Symfony) and modern frontend experience using React (Vue.js or Angular exposure is a plus). The ideal candidate should possess a full-stack mindset with experience in building scalable REST APIs and interactive UI applications.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end feature development (Backend + Frontend)
• Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable applications
• Build and optimize REST APIs and reusable UI components
• Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews
• Mentor junior developers and ensure coding best practices
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Architects
• Focus on performance tuning and security enhancements

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in PHP (Laravel/Symfony)

• Expertise in React.js (Vue.js/Angular acceptable)

• Build and continuously mentor a talented product engineering team comprising of functional specialists and IT managers
• Actively advise on the optimum technology architecture, framework and supported IT infrastructure to ensure a balance between budgeted costs & building engineering capabilities
• Lead the development of products as per defined timelines and deliverables
• Ensure quality and security of the concepts and products in development by enabling adequate measures throughout the process
• Foster a corporate culture by inspiring the engineering team to grow and develop. She/he should be actively involved in feedback and retention of team members.
• Create strategic plans, set timelines to drive development of the planned products
• Continually review the progress to ensure timely launch of the respective product builds 
• Document periodic feedback from both internal and external stakeholders to continually improve the released products
• Enable active collaboration between product engineering team and other business departments within the organization, thereby promoting a culture of openness 

• 3+ years of working experience using NodeJS

Founder

The founder is Shariq Plasticwala. He is a graduate of IIT Bombay & Stanford GSB. He was part of the founding team of Amazon India where he played a key role for over 8 years. Among his roles at Amazon, he was the CEO of Amazon’s first joint venture in India and a Board Member of Amazon’s payments business.

Role

The role is a unique opportunity to be a part of the core team at KAFQA. The responsibilities of the role are per the below:

• Understand the needs of employees across different segments across their lifecycle (discovery of Kafqa opportunities, application experience, interview experience, decision experience, onboarding, settling down, scaling with the organization, attrition & separation) & design best in class experiences always thinking technology first
• Understand the needs of instructors separately and design best in class experiences for them in partnership with head of departments and other teams.
• Meet compliances mandated by central & state governments.

The role is based in Bangalore, India and reports directly to the Founder, CEO of KAFQA.

Experience, Qualifications & Person Type

Design and develop robust services in coordination with front-end developers, ensuring the production and development of high-quality and well-tested code

Design, develop and test features alongside other technical departments

Lead the department in the design, development, deployment, and operation of services used by our users

Optimise APIs for any applications while creating and maintaining unit tests for new code as well as fix defects

Participate in the continuous integration of automated builds and deployments, ensuring that deliverables meet functional and design requirements and specifications of the site/software. Work with engineering leadership in solving and architecting solutions for challenging or complex site/software development issues.

Take initiatives in developing and maintaining integrations of best practices within the backend department

Job Description:

• 1+ years of experience in Salesforce development.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Declarative Programming and Administration (develop code, custom objects, Visual Force pages, Apex, reports, workflows and

assignment rules)

• Design and develop solutions primarily on the Salesforce platform using Apex programming language and Visual Force
• Develop software solutions using MS tools, Salesforce.com API framework, and 3rd party APIs
• Perform unit testing and defect fixes
• Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility.
• Provide consulting support on processes and systems issues.
• Author and update all technical documents relative to design, delivery, operation readiness and/or custom application development team site.
• Assist Business Analysts in troubleshooting technical issues with standard or custom programs and reports.
