Project Manager

Job Summary

GMI is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive eCommerce Specialist to manage and enhance the digital product catalog and order fulfillment operations on our LabCore platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate product listings, coordinating dropship orders with OEMs, and ensuring a seamless post-sale experience. This role bridges communication between internal teams, customers, and suppliers, playing a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality online shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update product listings, descriptions, specifications, and pricing on the LabCore platform.
• Create, upload, and optimize digital content (images, descriptions, specs) to enhance user engagement.
• Manage the full order lifecycle—place dropship orders with OEMs, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide timely customer updates regarding order confirmations, shipping, and delivery timelines.
• Handle post-sale support including returns, issue resolution, and customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with OEMs and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and responsive fulfillment operations.
• Track and analyze platform metrics such as traffic, conversions, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Work with marketing to align platform content with promotional campaigns and product launches.
• Maintain accurate records in eCommerce systems including order logs, customer communications, and inventory data.
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in eCommerce, customer service, or order management—experience in a technical/scientific industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with lab equipment and scientific terminology is advantageous.
• Proficient in eCommerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento, or proprietary platforms).
• Strong knowledge of digital content management tools and best practices.
• Experience with dropshipping and third-party vendor coordination.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a strong customer service orientation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/ERP systems such as NetSuite or Salesforce.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with keen attention to detail.

The eCommerce Specialist at GMI plays a vital role in managing the LabCore platform’s product ecosystem and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Through meticulous content management and efficient dropshipping coordination, the specialist ensures timely, accurate, and customer-focused operations. This role supports GMI’s mission to provide accessible, high-quality solutions to the scientific community through operational excellence and continuous improvement.

This role demands taking care of the following from our Gurugram Office.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

• Continuously learn and stay updated with iOS platform updates and new technologies

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in iOS development

• Proficient in SwiftUI and Objective-C

• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services

• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards

• Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines

• Experience with Git or other version control systems

 Field Sales Executive Responsibilities: 

• • Making field visits, Cold Calls on daily basis, generating leads, sharing quotation coordinating with the team and follow-ups. 

• • Maintaining long-lasting relationships with existing customers through exceptional after-sales service. 

• • Actively sourcing new sales opportunities through cold-calling and emailing. 

• • Developing in-depth knowledge of product features and benefits. 

• • Utilizing direct meetings to build relationships with new customers. 

• • Processing customers' purchase orders and liaising with the Finance department to ensure the timely delivery of ordered products to end customer. 

• • Advising customers on suitable product selection based on their needs and specifications. 

• • Creating a sales pipeline to accurately reflect the relative placement of sales prospects in the purchasing process. 

• • Following up on sales inquiries that are made by potential customers through website chats, emails, and inbound calls. 

• • Setting up face-to-face meetings between potential customers and team Sales Representatives. 

• • Coordinating with team for quotation, customer assistance, follow-up, customer handling based on their requirement, and engage with team. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Rewrite existing APIs in NodeJS. 
• Remodel the APIs into Micro services-based architecture. 
• Implement a caching layer wherever possible. 
• Optimize the API for high performance and scalability. 
• Write unit tests for API Testing.
• Automate the code testing and deployment process.

Skills Required:

• At least 2 years of experience developing Backends using NodeJS — should be well versed with its asynchronous nature & event loop, and know its quirks and workarounds. 
• Excellent hands-on experience using MySQL or any other SQL Database. 
• Good knowledge of MongoDB or any other NoSQL Database. 
• Good knowledge of Redis, its data types, and their use cases. 
• Experience with graph-based databases like GraphQL and Neo4j. 
• Experience developing and deploying REST APIs. 
• Good knowledge of Unit Testing and available Test Frameworks. 
• Good understanding of advanced JS libraries and frameworks. 
• Experience with Web sockets, Service Workers, and Web Push Notifications. 
• Familiar with NodeJS profiling tools. 
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git. 
• Good knowledge of creating and maintaining DevOps infrastructure on cloud platforms. 
• Should be a fast learner and a go-getter — without any fear of trying out new things Preferences. 
• Experience building a large scale social or location-based app.

• Spring Boot Java 8, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Swagger, Tomcat 8, Maven, Jenkins, SVN, GIT, Postman/Newman, RESTful Services, Containers.
• Experience with infrastructure management and monitoring.
• Proven in developing, implementing, and providing solutions to the given problem in all Java technologies.
• Proficient in stitch-together end-to-end application starting from front-end web development, back-end development, middleware integration, and persisting data in no SQL or DBMS databases.
