Study Abroad Counsellor – Mumbai

About the Role

upGrad is looking for passionate and stStudy udent-focused professionals to join our Study Abroad Counselling team. As a Study Abroad Counsellor, you will guide aspiring students throughout their international education journey by providing personalized counselling and end-to-end admission support.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students on international education opportunities based on their academic background and career aspirations.
• Help students select suitable universities, courses, and study destinations across the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe.
• Assist students in preparing application documents, including Statements of Purpose (SOPs), Letters of Recommendation (LORs), and resumes.
• Guide students on tuition fees, scholarships, living expenses, visa processes, and admission requirements.
• Manage leads efficiently and maintain accurate records using CRM tools.
• Achieve monthly counselling and enrollment targets while ensuring an excellent student experience.
• Stay updated on global education trends, university requirements, and admission policies.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in Study Abroad Counselling or EdTech (Mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of international education systems and study destinations.
• Excellent communication, counselling, interpersonal, and persuasion skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

As a Backend Engineer you will be responsible for creating REST APIs which are used to drive the User Interface. Given the nature of the application, these APIs need to be very efficient and high performing. This requires optimizing queries for faster execution and introducing database changes that may be required. • Develop, test, implement and maintain application software

Requirements:

Responsibilities

• Assist the sales team in generating qualified first appointments for the monthly targets in an organization.
• Prospect into named target industry accounts and build sales pipeline to drive early stages of the sales cycle.
• Assist the sales team in penetrating strategic accounts by identifying business pains, decision makers, budget, time frame and scheduling sales appointments with qualified prospects.
• Use multiple sources of information like news alerts, social media, online databases, events & trade shows to build a list of prospects who are receptive to Unbxd's products and services.
• Achieve quarterly targets on qualified first appointments and help build a pipeline for sales teams.
• Collaborate with sales & marketing teams to proactively identify and prospect for new business opportunities.

The role is a unique opportunity to be a part of the core team at KAFQA. The responsibilities of the role are per the below:

• Understand the needs of employees across different segments across their lifecycle (discovery of Kafqa opportunities, application experience, interview experience, decision experience, onboarding, settling down, scaling with the organization, attrition & separation) & design best in class experiences always thinking technology first
• Understand the needs of instructors separately and design best in class experiences for them in partnership with head of departments and other teams.
• Meet compliances mandated by central & state governments.

The role is based in Bangalore, India and reports directly to the Founder, CEO of KAFQA.

Experience, Qualifications & Person Type
