JD:

• QA resources assigned to support the ETL(Datastage)-DWH, Bi reports test Execution of their assigned projects(with 6+ year of exp in ETL+ SQL)
• Create and be responsible for ensuring all testing Analyst work products for their assigned projects are delivered according to procedure and schedule.
• Determine automation test strategies for functional, regression and or smoke Testing for application/function-based changes.
• Interaction with Business users During SIT, UAT, signoff and project life cycle activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

• Work with QA /project manager and assess project/ change artifacts to identify functional requirements and opportunities to support complex multi-application / platform projects
• Good understanding of Data warehouse and ETL process
• Good understanding in SQL/PL SQL and Database like Orcale, Hive
• Good Understanding of OBIEE/OAC, BI data, BI reports and data validation.
• Good Understanding of Actimize application - CDD,IFM,WLF,SAM
• good understanding of Anti-money laundering and fraud domain.
• Having understanding of Kafka and real-time data feed, Consumption and validation .
• Having a good understanding of case management , alert generation, Actimize tool and its workflow.
• Identify ,assign and monitoring the activities of test specialists to support of the multiple deliverables under their area of responsibility.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with test terms and support partners
• Participate and drive test automation improvements with toll like ETL validator, Python script , selenium etc
• Create , manage the execution of the automation script according to test plan and schedule.
• Monitor overall test execution and manage contingency planning for test plan variances
• Identify and communicate risks during test planning and executive.

• Graduate+ in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Total experience of 5+ years with at least 2 years in managing data quality for high scale data platforms.
• Good knowledge of SQL querying.
• Strong skill in analysing data and uncovering patterns using SQL or Python.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Pingahla is recruiting ETL & BI Test Manager who can build and lead a team, establish infrastructure, processes
and best practices for our Quality Assurance vertical. The candidates are expected to have at least 5+ years of experience with ETL Testing and working in Data Management project testing. JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Plans and manages the testing activities;
• Defect Management and Weekly & Monthly Test report Generation;
• Work as a Test Manager to design Test Strategy and approach for DW&BI - (ETL & BI) solution;
• Provide leadership and directions to the team on quality standards and testing best practices;
• Ensured that project deliverables are produced, including, but not limited to: quality assurance plans,
test plans, testing priorities, status reports, user documentation, online help, etc. Managed and
motivated teams to accomplish significant deliverables within tight deadlines.
• Test Data Management; Reviews and approves all test cases prior to execution;
• Coordinates and reviews offshore work efforts for projects and maintenance activities.

REQUIRED SKILLSET:
• Experience in Quality Assurance Management, Program Management, DW - (ETL & BI)

• Minimum 5 years in ETL Testing, at least 2 years in the Team Lead role
• Technical abilities complemented by sound communication skills, user interaction abilities,
requirement gathering and analysis, and skills in data migration and conversion strategies.
• Proficient in test definition, capable of developing test plans and test cases from technical
specifications
• Single handedly looking after complete delivery from testing side.
• Experience working with remote teams, across multiple time zones.
• Must have a strong knowledge of QA processes and methodologies
• Strong UNIX and PERL scripting skills
• Expertise with ETL testing & hands-on with working on ETL tool like Informatica, DataStage
PL/SQL is a plus.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiar with Data Management projects.
• Eager to learn, adopt and apply rapidly changing new technologies and methodologies.
• Efficient and effective at approaching and escalating quality issues when appropriate.

• 5+ years of testing experience, preferably in a product organization
• Strong knowledge of SQL and ETL Testing
• Extensive experience in ETL/ Data warehouse backend testing and BI Intelligence reports testing
• Hands-on back-end testing skills and strong RDBMS and testing methodologies.
• Expertise in test management tools and defect tracking tools i.e HP Quality Center, Jira
• Proficient experience of working on SDLC & Agile Methodology
• Excellent Knowledge of Database Systems Vertica /Oracle/ Teradata
• Knowledge in security testing will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Business Intelligence testing in various reports Using Tableau
• Strong comprehension, analytical, and problem solving skills
