We're hiring a Data Analyst to turn raw data into clear, actionable insight. You'll partner with product, sales, marketing, and operations teams to answer their most important questions with data — building dashboards, running deep-dive analyses, and defining the metrics the business runs on. The ideal candidate is fluent in SQL, comfortable wrangling messy datasets, and just as strong at telling the story behind the numbers as they are at producing them. You'll own the accuracy and trustworthiness of the reporting stakeholders rely on to make decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and recurring reports across business functions
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, join, and transform data from multiple sources
• Run ad-hoc and deep-dive analyses to answer specific business questions
• Define, document, and standardize metrics and KPIs alongside stakeholders
• Investigate data-quality issues and ensure the numbers people see are accurate
• Translate analysis into clear recommendations and present them to non-technical audiences
• Support experimentation and A/B test analysis where relevant
• Automate repetitive reporting to free up time for higher-value analysis

Requirements

• 3+ years in a data analyst or business-intelligence role
• Strong SQL and hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau
• Working knowledge of Python (pandas/numpy) for analysis
• Solid grounding in statistics and analytical methods
• Advanced Excel and strong data-visualization / storytelling skills
• Ability to work independently with stakeholders across functions

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
• Exposure to dbt or other ETL/transformation tooling

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Pingahla is recruiting ETL & BI Test Manager who can build and lead a team, establish infrastructure, processes
and best practices for our Quality Assurance vertical. The candidates are expected to have at least 5+ years of experience with ETL Testing and working in Data Management project testing. JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Plans and manages the testing activities;
• Defect Management and Weekly & Monthly Test report Generation;
• Work as a Test Manager to design Test Strategy and approach for DW&BI - (ETL & BI) solution;
• Provide leadership and directions to the team on quality standards and testing best practices;
• Ensured that project deliverables are produced, including, but not limited to: quality assurance plans,
test plans, testing priorities, status reports, user documentation, online help, etc. Managed and
motivated teams to accomplish significant deliverables within tight deadlines.
• Test Data Management; Reviews and approves all test cases prior to execution;
• Coordinates and reviews offshore work efforts for projects and maintenance activities.

REQUIRED SKILLSET:
• Experience in Quality Assurance Management, Program Management, DW - (ETL & BI)
Management
• Minimum 5 years in ETL Testing, at least 2 years in the Team Lead role
• Technical abilities complemented by sound communication skills, user interaction abilities,
requirement gathering and analysis, and skills in data migration and conversion strategies.
• Proficient in test definition, capable of developing test plans and test cases from technical
specifications
• Single handedly looking after complete delivery from testing side.
• Experience working with remote teams, across multiple time zones.
• Must have a strong knowledge of QA processes and methodologies
• Strong UNIX and PERL scripting skills
• Expertise with ETL testing & hands-on with working on ETL tool like Informatica, DataStage
PL/SQL is a plus.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiar with Data Management projects.
• Eager to learn, adopt and apply rapidly changing new technologies and methodologies.
• Efficient and effective at approaching and escalating quality issues when appropriate.

• 5+ years of testing experience, preferably in a product organization
• Strong knowledge of SQL and ETL Testing
• Extensive experience in ETL/ Data warehouse backend testing and BI Intelligence reports testing
• Hands-on back-end testing skills and strong RDBMS and testing methodologies.
• Expertise in test management tools and defect tracking tools i.e HP Quality Center, Jira
• Proficient experience of working on SDLC & Agile Methodology
• Excellent Knowledge of Database Systems Vertica /Oracle/ Teradata
• Knowledge in security testing will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Business Intelligence testing in various reports Using Tableau
• Strong comprehension, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, quick learner, and good troubleshooting capabilities.
• Good knowledge of Python Scripting.
