Position Description

We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on Sr. Database/Data Warehouse Data Analytics developer to work at our Bangalore, India location. Ideal candidate will have solid software technology background with capability in the making and supporting of robust, secure, and multi-platform financial applications to contribute to Fully Paid Lending (FPL) project. The successful candidate will be a proficient and productive developer, a team leader, have good communication skills, and demonstrate ownership.

Responsibilities

• Produce service metrics, analyze trends, and identify opportunities to improve the level of service and reduce cost as appropriate.
• Responsible for design, development and maintenance of database schema and objects throughout the lifecycle of the applications.
• Supporting implemented solutions by monitoring and tuning queries and data loads, addressing user questions concerning data integrity, monitoring performance, and communicating functional and technical issues.
• Helping the team by taking care of production releases.
• Troubleshoot data issues and work with data providers for resolution.
• Closely work with business and applications teams in implementing the right design and solution for the business applications.
• Build reporting solutions for WM Risk Applications.
• Work as part of a banking Agile Squad / Fleet.
• Perform proof of concepts in new areas of development.
• Support continuous improvement of automated systems.
• Participate in all aspects of SDLC (analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation).

Required Skill

• 5 to 7 Years of strong database (SQL) Knowledge, ETL (Informatica PowerCenter), Unix Shell Scripting.
• Database (preferably Teradata) knowledge, database design, performance tuning, writing complex DB programs etc.
• Demonstrate proficient skills in analysis and resolution of application performance problems.
• Database fundamentals; relational and Datawarehouse concepts.
• Should be able to lead a team of 2-3 members and guide them in their day to work technically and functionally.
• Ensure designs, code and processes are optimized for performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Understanding of requirements of large enterprise applications (security, entitlements, etc.)
• Provide technical leadership throughout the design process and guidance with regards to practices, procedures, and techniques. Serve as a guide and mentor for junior level Software Development Engineers
• Exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high-quality development environment.
• Proven experience in working within an Agile framework.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to produce high quality work independently and work well in a team.

Role: Core infrastructure for two global applications.

Key responsibilities:

Heavy Data Lifting: Designing and maintaining complex MongoDB aggregation pipelines and executing high-volume bulk updates.

Systems Connectivity: Managing the lifecycle of Bridges, WebSockets, and REST APIs for global traffic.

Global Reliability: Troubleshooting performance regressions, managing SSL/TLS certificates, and optimizing AWS S3/EC2 resources.

Core Logic: Implementing server-side push notifications, custom payment flows, and background Cron orchestration.

Requirements (Must Have)

Production Experience: Proven experience managing backend services for live, high-traffic applications. (Must have)

Note: Learning projects, bootcamps, and online courses will not be considered.

Python Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in backend Python development. (Must have)

MongoDB Expertise: Deep knowledge of Aggregations and Bulk operations. (Must have)

AWS Proficiency: Direct experience with S3 and EC2 in a production setting. (Must have)

Infrastructure Logic: Ability to manage SSL/Encryption and optimize resource allocation (Cron vs. API). (Must have)

Strong RevOps / Revenue Operations Lead Profiles (B2B SaaS Only).

Mandatory (Experience 1) – Must have minimum 3+ years experience in RevOps / Sales Operations / Revenue Operations roles.

Mandatory (Experience 2) – Must have minimum 2+ years of hands-on CRM experience, including at least 6 months of active HubSpot CRM usage (workflow automation, reporting, integrations, data hygiene).

Mandatory (Experience 3) – Must have strong analytics and data management experience, including hands-on work with SQL, Excel, and BI tools (Tableau / Looker / Power BI / Looker Studio).

Mandatory (Experience 4) – Must have proven experience in Revenue / Sales process optimization, automation, CRM adoption, and data governance best practices.

Mandatory (Experience 5) – Must have exposure to GTM operations and 0–1 or 1–10 journey building experience (process setup in early-stage or fast-growing environments).

Mandatory (Experience 6) – Must have experience managing or mentoring minimum 1–2 team members OR clear ownership of cross-functional RevOps initiatives.

Mandatory (Tools) – Must have worked with RevOps tools such as HubSpot, sales engagement tools (e.g., Outplay), automation tools (e.g., n8n), enrichment tools (e.g., Clay), call intelligence tools (e.g., Avoma) or similar ecosystem tools.

Mandatory (Company) – Must have experience in B2B SaaS companies only (early stage Startups / product-based preferred).

Mandatory (Background) – Must have a technical education background (B.E/B.Tech/Engineering/Tech degree) OR strong demonstrated analytical/technical capability reflected in career progression.

• Strong CS fundamentals in OOD, DS, Algorithms and Problem Solving for a wide variety of problem spaces and technologies
• Expert coder in any modern language such as Java, Golang or Scala.
• Experience in working with Product and Engineering leaders to drive and implement platform and product vision.
• Ability to leverage deep and wide knowledge of technology stack to recommend appropriate architecture and design solutions, and provide technical leadership to a team of rock star Software Engineers.
• Can translate the impact of design choices on non-functional attributes like scalability, performance, availability and security.
• Experience in providing leadership, career guidance, performance management, prioritization and personnel management for minimum team size of 10.
• Experience creating large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed web applications with databases, and designing web services, APIs, data models and schemas, using SQL or NoSQL.
• Experience with Cloud environments, such as AWS.
• Comfortable in Windows and Linux environments.
• Comfortable with different data storage solutions such as Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server, ElasticSearch, SQL, Hadoop, or MongoDB.
• Experience delivering high quality software following continuous delivery and using code quality tools (JIRA, GitHub, Jenkin, Hudson, Sonar, PMD, Checkstyle, Findbugs, and Fortify etc.)
• Worked in Agile environments previously.
• Good command of development metrics, methodologies and tools.
• Will ensure timely and frequent delivery of high quality software, while adapting technical decisions to the immediate needs of the business.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
