JOB DESCRIPTION:

Location: mumbai

Mode of Work : 3 days from Office

DSA(Collections, Hash maps, trees, Linkedlist and Arrays, etc), Core Oops concepts(Multithreading, Multi Processing, Polymorphism, Inheritance etc) Annotations in Spring and Spring boot, Java 8 Vital features, database Optimization, Microsevices and Rest API

• Design, develop, and maintain low-latency, high-performance enterprise applications using Core Java (Java 5.0 and above).
• Implement and integrate APIs using Spring Framework and Apache CXF.
• Build microservices-based architecture for scalable and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for high/low-level design, development, and deployment of software solutions.
• Optimize performance through efficient multithreading, memory management, and algorithm design.
• Ensure best coding practices, conduct code reviews, and perform unit/integration testing.
• Work with RDBMS (preferably Sybase) for backend data integration.
• Analyze complex business problems and deliver innovative technology solutions in the financial/trading domain.
• Work in Unix/Linux environments for deployment and troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3– 7 years of strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring boot, microservices, data structures.
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Proven experience with Spring, CXF, and REST/SOAP web services.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience working with Sybase or other relational databases.
• Expertise in multithreading, concurrency, and high-throughput server-side development.
• Exposure to capital markets, sales & trading platforms, or similar financial services applications.
• Good working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience in solution architecture and design documentation is a strong plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with global teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Previous experience in investment banking, capital markets, or financial technology domains.

• Teaching: Delivering lectures, designing course materials, and guiding students in psychological theories and applications.
• Research: Conducting studies, publishing papers, and contributing to advancements in psychology.
• Mentorship: Advising students on academic and career paths, supervising research projects, and fostering intellectual growth.
• Administrative Duties: Participating in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and university initiatives.

• A minimum of 4-10 years of experience into data integration/orchestration services,  service architecture and providing data driven solutions for client requirements 
• Experience on Microsoft Azure cloud and Snowflake SQL, database query/performance tuning. 
• Experience with Qlik Replicate and Compose tools(Change Data Capture) tools is considered a plus 
• Strong Data warehousing Concepts, ETL tools such as Talend Cloud Data Integration tool is must 
• Exposure to the financial domain knowledge is considered a plus. 
• Cloud Managed Services such as source control code Github, MS Azure/Devops is considered a plus. 
• Prior experience with State Street and Charles River Development ( CRD) considered a plus. 
• Experience in tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, Excel. 
• Exposure to Third party data providers such as Bloomberg, Reuters, MSCI and other Rating agencies is a plus. 
• Strong SQL knowledge and debugging skills is a must.

A Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support for computer hardware and software issues in an organization's desktop environment. The role involves assisting employees with troubleshooting, maintaining, and resolving issues related to their desktops, laptops, and peripherals.

Job Summary:

1. Hardware Support:

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals (printers, monitors, etc.).
• Perform hardware repairs and upgrades.

1. Software Support:

• Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues, including OS installations, software updates, and application support.
• Ensure proper functioning of office productivity software (MS Office, etc.) and enterprise applications.

1. Network Support:

• Provide assistance in connecting workstations to the company network and resolving connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot network-related issues on desktops and laptops.

1. User Support:

• Assist employees with troubleshooting technical problems, including login issues, system crashes, and application errors.
• Offer guidance on proper system usage and IT best practices.

1. System Maintenance:

• Regularly update and patch desktop systems to ensure security and functionality.
• Backup important files and data as per company policy.

1. Documentation:

• Maintain logs of issues, solutions, and configurations for future reference.
• Document common problems and resolutions for knowledge-sharing purposes.

1. Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with users' technical issues.

Key Skills:

• Technical Knowledge: Proficient in desktop operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Linux) and office software.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with end-users.
• Networking Basics: Understanding of network configurations and troubleshooting.
• Time Management: Capable of handling multiple requests and prioritizing tasks.

• 3+ years experience in practical implementation and deployment of ML based systems preferred.
• BE/B Tech or M Tech (preferred) in CS/Engineering with strong mathematical/statistical background
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills, especially statistical and ML techniques, with familiarity with different supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms
• Implementation experiences and deep knowledge of Classification, Time Series Analysis, Pattern Recognition, Reinforcement Learning, Deep Learning, Dynamic Programming and Optimisation
• Experience in working on modeling graph structures related to spatiotemporal systems
• Programming skills in Python
• Experience in developing and deploying on cloud (AWS or Google or Azure)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with well-known ML frameworks such as Pandas, Keras, TensorFlow
