We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to enhance our customer engagement capabilities by upgrading our Legacy Chat to Enhanced Chat. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud, coupled with a strong understanding of Omni-Channel and Live Agent functionalities.

This role requires proven expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, HTML, SOQL, and SOSL, with the ability to design and implement scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions that drive customer success.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Focus on delivering high-quality, functional solutions on the Salesforce.com platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOAP, and REST APIs.
• Lead the migration from Legacy Chat to Enhanced Chat, ensuring a seamless transition for users and customers within Service Cloud and Sales Cloud.
• Design and implement Omni-Channel and Omni-Flow configurations to optimize customer service workflows and routing.
• Perform deployment, testing, and documentation of Salesforce features, enhancements, and integrations.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to define, clarify, and implement both functional and non-functional requirements for new and existing backlog items.
• Train and support end-users on implemented Salesforce features and planned solutions to ensure adoption and efficiency.
• Investigate, scope, and plan the implementation of assigned epics and backlog items, leveraging deep Salesforce platform expertise to model, document, and justify scalable, maintainable solutions.

Desired Outcomes

• Lead the migration from Legacy Chat to Enhanced Chat within Service Cloud and Sales Cloud, ensuring a seamless, scalable, and user-friendly transition for both customers and internal teams.
• Design, build, and deploy Enhanced Chat configurations, including Omni-Channel and Omni-Flow setups, to optimize response times, routing efficiency, and overall customer engagement.
• Execute deployment, testing, and documentation of Salesforce features, enhancements, and integrations, maintaining high standards of quality, performance, and compliance with best practices.

About you

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with coding on the Salesforce Platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning / Aura Components, Javascript, HTML, REST/SOAP API etc.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience creating Flows
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Omnichannel and Live Agent Chat
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Sales, Service Cloud

Required Education / Certificates / Experience

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent preferably in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering

• Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and other analytics software.

• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on campaign performance, website traffic, and other key metrics to share with stakeholders.

• Data-Driven Decisions: Use data insights to make informed decisions and optimize marketing strategies.

5. Collaboration and Coordination

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, including designers, writers, and other specialists, to execute campaigns.

• Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with sales, product, and other departments to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.

• External Partners: Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners as needed.

6. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

• Database Management: Manage and utilize the company’s CRM system to track customer interactions and data.

• Lead Generation and Nurturing: Develop strategies for lead generation and nurturing to convert prospects into customers.

7. Innovation and Trend Monitoring

• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing.

• Experimentation: Test new marketing techniques and strategies to improve campaign effectiveness.

8. Compliance and Ethics

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.

• Ethical Practices: Promote ethical marketing practices and maintain the company’s reputation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Must possess strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

• Must be familiar with analysing statistics and formulating sales data

• Must be a highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter who is willing to work independently as well as in a team environment

• Knowledge of advertising sales or sales promotions

• Knowledge of online marketing

• Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Execute data mining projects, training and deploying models over a typical duration of 2 -12 months.
• The ideal candidate should be able to innovate, analyze the customer requirement, develop a solution in the time box of the project plan, execute and deploy the solution.
• Integrate the data mining projects embedded data mining applications in the FogHorn platform (on Docker or Android).

Core Qualifications
Candidates must meet ALL of the following qualifications:

• Have analyzed, trained and deployed at least three data mining models in the past. If the candidate did not directly deploy their own models, they will have worked with others who have put their models into production. The models should have been validated as robust over at least an initial time period.
• Three years of industry work experience, developing data mining models which were deployed and used.
• Programming experience in Python is core using data mining related libraries like Scikit-Learn. Other relevant Python mining libraries include NumPy, SciPy and Pandas.
• Data mining algorithm experience in at least 3 algorithms across: prediction (statistical regression, neural nets, deep learning, decision trees, SVM, ensembles), clustering (k-means, DBSCAN or other) or Bayesian networks

• Soft Skills
  • Sets expectations, develops project plans and meets expectations.
  • Experience adapting technical dialogue to the right level for the audience (i.e. executives) or specific jargon for a given vertical market and job function.

  • Have managed past models in production over their full life cycle until model replacement is needed. Have developed automated model refreshing on newer data. Have developed frameworks for model automation as a prototype for product.
  • Training or experience in Deep Learning, such as TensorFlow, Keras, convolutional neural networks (CNN) or Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) neural network architectures. If you don’t have deep learning experience, we will train you on the job.
  • Shrinking deep learning models, optimizing to speed up execution time of scoring or inference.
  • OpenCV or other image processing tools or libraries
  • Cloud computing: Google Cloud, Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure. We have integration with Google Cloud and are working on other integrations.

  • Experience with PMML is of interest (see www.DMG.org).

About the Data Science Solutions team
In 2018, our Data Science Solutions team grew from 4 to 9.  We are growing again from 11. We work on revenue generating projects for clients, such as predictive maintenance, time to failure, manufacturing defects.  About half of our projects have been related to vision recognition or deep learning. We are not only working on consulting projects but developing vertical solution applications that run on our Lightning platform, with embedded data mining.
