Job Title: L2 SIEM Administrator - LogRhythm

Location:

Pune – Customer Site (Magarpatta)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive L2 SIEM Administrator with expertise in LogRhythm to manage, maintain, and optimize our Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will develop use case frameworks, implement SIEM rules, and ensure efficient log management and threat detection.

Key Responsibilities:

LogRhythm Administration:

Manage and maintain the LogRhythm SIEM platform for optimal performance.

Develop, implement, and fine-tune use case frameworks and detection rules to enhance threat detection.

Incident Analysis:

Investigate security alerts and logs to identify and respond to threats.

Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level teams or external stakeholders.

Log Management:

Onboard and configure log sources, ensuring accurate data ingestion and normalization.

Validate log integrity across network and endpoint sources.

Optimization and Troubleshooting:

Resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.

Monitor and maintain dashboards and reporting tools for actionable insights.

Qualifications:

Proven expertise with LogRhythm, including creating and managing use case frameworks and detection rules.

3+ years of experience in SIEM administration.

Strong understanding of security logs, event correlation, and incident analysis.

Familiarity with scripting (Python, PowerShell) and security frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK).

Relevant certifications (e.g., LogRhythm Certified Professional (LRCP)) are a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

1+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical support role.

Hands-on experience with *Zendesk* and *Jira* for managing and tracking issues.

Proficiency with *API testing tools like Postman*.

Experience writing clear and actionable *Root Cause Analysis (RCA)* documents.

Strong understanding of *SLA management* and escalation workflows.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into simple language.

Familiarity with cloud platforms or server-side troubleshooting is a plus, creating troubleshooting guide etc

Willingness to work in a *24/7 on-call rotation* as needed.

You will be responsible for repurposing or creating original video content from scratch, using the latest trends and memes, to craft engaging short-form videos for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Twitter among others.

● Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or online tools like Canva, CapCut, etc.).

● Ability to stay on top of social media trends and incorporate relevant memes, audio tracks, and visual styles to increase engagement.

● Strong creative skills, with an eye for design and visual aesthetics.

● Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teams and clients to execute content that aligns with project goals.

● Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

● Prior experience working with web3 or crypto-related projects is a plus.

Compensation:

  Hands-on experience on Backups

  Desktop troubleshooting experience

  hands-on experience on Firewalls.

·         Architect, develop and deploy software using Django/ Python

·         Strong hands on experience in Django and Python Experience with RDBMS, PostgreSQL, MySQL.

·         Experience with HTML5, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.

·         Experience with Linux platform.

·         Experience building responsive web applications with Bootstrap

·         Understanding of Amazon AWS/ EC2 deployment architecture experience is a plus

·         Experience with source control management tools (Git preferred) Preferred skills 

·         Any work experience related to data scraping algorithms would be an add on weightage
