Business Development Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Executive to manage tender submissions on GeM, e-procurement portals, and other government platforms. The role includes tender searching, documentation, coordination, and ensuring timely bid submission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, track, and evaluate Government & Private tender opportunities through GeM, e procurement portals, and other tender platforms.

• Collect and analyze tender documents including eligibility criteria, specifications, scope of work, and terms & conditions.

• Coordinate with internal departments to gather required technical, financial, and administrative documents.

• Prepare and submit bids (technical & financial) within deadlines and ensure compliance with all tender requirements.

• Handle bid uploading, bid revisions, and documentation as per tender norms.

• Maintain records of submitted tenders, follow-ups, clarifications, and result tracking.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Mandatory: Strong working knowledge of GeM (Government e-Marketplace) and various e procurement portals.

• Understanding of tender lifecycle, bidding procedures, technical bid, and financial bid.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PDF handling).

• Strong documentation, communication, and coordination skills.

·       Strong written/verbal communication skills

·       Minimum 5-14 Years of Core Java Programming with Collections Framework, Concurrent Programming, Multi-threading (Good knowledge in Executor service, Forkjoin pool and other threading concepts)

·       Good knowledge of the JVM with an understanding of performance and memory optimization.

·       Extensive and expert programming experience in JAVA programming language (strong OO skills preferred).

·       Excellent knowledge on collections like, Array List, Vector, LinkedList, HashMap, Hash Table, HashSet is mandate.

·       Exercised exemplary development practices including design specification, coding standards, unit testing, and code-reviews.

·       Expert level understanding of Object-Oriented Concepts and Data Structures

·       Good experience in Database (Sybase, Oracle, or SQL Server) like indexing (clustered, non clustered), hashing, segmenting, data types like clob / blob, views (materialized), replication, constraints, functions, triggers, procedures etc.

Who are we looking for?

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript with at-least 6 years of hands on experience.

• Manage relations with existing clients, make client reports and quotations.
• Onboard new clients on our mobile application and maintain a healthy relation with them by catering to every infrastructural material and other requirements
• Set up and conduct business collaboration meetings with companies and our suppliers.
• Identify new avenues of growth, suggesting and building campaigns which can benefit the overall performance of the sales department.
• Convert leads to business with lead generation, customer interaction, and persuasive skills
• Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
• Communicate with various target groups, understanding their needs, maintaining relationships 
• Identify sales leads, pitch services to new clients, and maintain a good working relationship with them.
• Work with the internal product and management teams to increase sales opportunities for the organization

Roles & responsibilities:

• Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads
• Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
• Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information via email.
• Keeping up with product and service information and updates
• Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers and updating the same on CRM
• Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services
• Staying informed about competing products and services
• Upselling products and service
• Researching and qualifying new leads

- Build the backend for Android & iOS application and website with Company Dashboard (MIS). 
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic 
- Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performance applications
-Well versed with AWS and Server deployment 
- Excellent knowledge of Spring frameworks 
- Excellent knowledge of Java, JSP, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, JSON 
- Good knowledge of MySQL 
- Knowledge of coding standards and good commenting practices 
- Experiences in developing RESTful web services must. 
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
