Job Summary: 

We are looking for a highly driven QA Lead (Manual Testing) with 4 to 5 years of experience who can own end to end QA for projects. 

The ideal candidate should be a strong manual tester with excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring high-quality product delivery. 

Key Responsibilities:

● Take end-to-end ownership of QA activities for assigned projects  

● Understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios and test cases 

● Prepare test plans, test strategies, and effort estimations 

● Design and execute manual test cases covering functional and non-functional requirements  

● Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing 

● Identify, log, track, and verify defects; ensure timely closure with development teams  

● Manage and execute testing using test case management tools 

● Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders  

● Communicate test progress, risks, and quality metrics clearly to leadership  

● Drive release readiness and support production deployments 

● Maintain and update test documentation, test cases, and reports 

● Mentor junior QA members and provide guidance when required  

● Suggest and implement process improvements in testing practices

Required Skills: 

● Strong hands on experience in Manual Testing (Web/Application) 

● Solid understanding of STLC & SDLC 

● Experience in test planning and estimation techniques 

● Expertise in writing detailed test cases, scenarios, and bug reports 

● Hands on  experience with defect tracking & project management tools (JIRA mandatory) 

● Experience with test case management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, etc.) 

● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 

● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities  

● Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments 

● Ability to drive QA activities for a project independently

• Experience on SAP SD / MM functional testing experience
• Hands on experience in integrating Worksoft Certify with other applications like SolMan, HP ALM, selenium by using API's
• Requirement Analysis: Understand business requirements and translate them into test cases and scenarios for SAP modules.
• Test Planning: Develop test plans and strategies for SAP testing, considering both manual and automated testing approaches.
• Tool Configuration and Setup: Configure Worksoft automation tools to suit the specific requirements of SAP testing.
• Exposure in cloud applications

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 9+ years in software development with a proven track record of delivering scalable applications.
• Leadership Skills: 4+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, demonstrating strong mentoring abilities.
• Technical Lead must Lead and mentor a team of software developers and validation engineers.
• Technical Skills: Technical Lead must have Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, React js, SQL, MySQL, Javascript, Web API are required .NET, or Python, along with frameworks and tools used in software development.
• Technical Lead must have General working knowledge of Selenium to support current business automation tools and future automation requirements.
• General working knowledge of PHP desired to support current legacy applications which are on the roadmap for future modernization.
• Technical Lead must have Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Helps Test Lead to prepare the Test Plan and coordinate with Test Engineers during Testing Phase
• Performs Bug Analysis, understands the client requirement and help Test engineer to prepare the test cases
• Ability to multi-task/handle several projects effectively and deliver within timeline
• Peer Reviews the test cases, understands the Test Plan and write Automation test cases
• Able to write Scripts in languages like Java, Ruby, Python, etc.,
• Able to review the Scripts written, able to run the Maintenance / New Scripts and identify the issues
• Knowledge on automation test reports (TestNG, Allure, JUnit reports etc)
• Define onboarding documents for technology and domain for the teams
• Train/Mentor and evaluate juniors on testing specializations
• Exihitbit strong expertise in one of Load Testing - Jmeter (or similar tools) or Api Testing - Rest client/postman or DB testing
• Perform cross Browser / device compatibility testing using automation
• Understand and contribute to sprint release cycle process, ensure 100% test coverage and follow JIRA hygiene
• Besides the job specific responsibilities strictly adheres to the policies and procedures of the organization
